You need a Branford resident sticker to park in the lot. There are a handful of spots on the pier if you are lucky enough to get one. Then you can walk over to the park. The park offers a playground, beach, and grassy shade areas. It’s a beautiful view of the Branford harbor. You could walk to the center of town where shops are located. There are sidewalks. It would take about 30 minutes. Playground: Small playground and swings. Fenced in. Partially shaded. Restrooms: Located by the beach Picnic area: There are picnic tables and grills available.
Cute little park with spectacular views of Where Branford River flows into the Sound. Smaller beach area with lots of sand and play-scape for young kids. Basically a town park, open to all, but you need a town resident sticker to park.
I grew up riding my bike here with friends and spending summer days bouncing between the beach, climbing rocks and running through the woods. I love that whenever I get a chance to come back home and visit, my children have a great time by doing these exact same things.
We went to The Park to watch fireworks. Park is an amazing find. Playground, beach, benches, grills. Trees for shade. A trip back is in order just to take in the views and sunset.
Great park to watch town employees talking to their friends on the job. Park is trash and they wonder why.
It’s a great beach, you need to be a Branford resident to park. It’s keeps the beach clean and very community centered. Favorite place to be during the summer
I've gone to the park for a few days now and it's beautiful scenery and fresh air and it is just so peaceful there it is so relaxing you can just get lost in the atmosphere and the peacefulness of it. My daughter and my service animal's just love the park and it's surroundings. Playground: There is a playground in the park with swings and other kinds of play things for the kids to do. The Restrooms: They have restrooms Picnic area: The picnic areas over near the play area it's kinda going towards the beach and the water.
Beautiful Park with lots of tables & benches.
I love this beach and park and always have a great time there with my kids. The facilities are well kept and the grill and picnic area easy to use with big or small groups. I sometimes worry about our water conditions and hope the town will vote to give our great Parks and Rec dept the support needed to improve the few flaws.
It's a nice park with a maintained beach area and a unique quasi wooded area with some nice rockscapes and hidden places to explore. The far east side has a small hidden beach area. The bay is very busy in the summer with watercraft of all sorts so if you are a windsurfer or swimmer you must be very careful as the boaters can be a bit preoccupied aka inebriated at times. Fishing off the "Point" is a popular summer pastime. The nice part is parking is free with a town sticker.
