Caring, attentive, and affordable vet. A friend recommended Parker’s Paws to us and we’ve been grateful to find them. We’ve had a couple of scary things come up with our girl, and they’ve been super helpful and squeezed us in last minute both times. The place is clean and the staff is nice. No complaints.
We have been a client of Dr. K, Parkers Paws for well over 10 years.she has helped us to take care of our various for babies with kindness, compassion, empathy, understanding, and is just generally speaking, one of the best human beings walks this earth. There are no words to describe how much we love Parkers Paws, and would recommend them to absolutely anybody and everybody who has a fur baby.
I am extremely impressed, and thankful, for the 60+ minutes Dr. Fountain spent with us today. I cannot thank her enough for taking the time to review my dogs labs before we showed up, walking me through her assessment, doing a thorough checkup, and answering all my questions. It really felt like she and her team cared. I feel lucky to have found Parker’s Paws for Chloe’s future care as an older pup!
Parker's Paws is, without question, the finest Veterinary practice I have had the pleasure of taking my furry friends to. They truly care about animals in a way I've never experienced before. I have two special needs tripod cats that were born without parts of their rear legs, and the staff treats them so wonderfully that they both feel at total ease in their care. When one of my cats developed a urinary blockage, they immediately jumped into action and undoubtably saved his young life. If you love your pets, this is the practice to go to for the absolute best care there is. Thank you Parker's Paws for all you do!
We moved to Nashville almost 3 years ago from Franklin and was still going to our old vet because we were so comfortable with them. However, I am a pet sitter/dog walker and I had been to Parker’s Paws numerous times with other people’s pets. About 2 months ago I rescued a stray cat and brought him to Parker’s Paws for treatment. They were wonderful with him, from keeping him all day while I went to work to squeezing me in at the last minute when I showed up at their door. Fast forward to a few days ago and our own kitty was sick. I immediately thought of Parker’s Paws because they are local. We rushed her in there yesterday just before closing and the vet said she would stay late to see us. We have been so incredibly impressed with all of the vets we have seen Dr. Hooper for the stray, Drs. Spence and Cremerius for our girl and also with the office staff and vet techs. Their accommodating nature and their ability to make all animals feel so special and cared for is wonderful. They are great communicators as well! We will definitely be going back with all of our cats for all of our veterinary needs.
New to Nashville, this was the first vet I tried and I need not look any further! The exam fee is incredibly reasonable I think $65, I don’t 100% remember, and they break down all the services and prices in the exam room before they do anything so there are no surprises when you go to pay. I had concerns about being able to pay for everything and they went through the list and told me what was the most necessary and what I could save for a later time. Dr. Hooper was very patient and willing to answer any questions I had. She went over services and meds a couple times until I felt like I fully understood everything. I didn’t feel rushed at all which is really important for me. When you arrive, you wait in your car until there is an exam room available and an employee comes to your car and walks you right from your car to the exam room. You and your pet don’t sit in a waiting room with other pets if that’s a concern for you. Finally and most importantly, everyone was so caring, loving, and gentle with my dog. She had to have blood drawn and one of the techs held her and petted her the entire time. I could tell even by the way they all looked at my dog that they are in this field because they really do love animals. It gave me such a peace of mind and I know she was in great hands the whole time. They did everything in the exam room so I was able to see it all, which is different from some vet offices I’ve been to where they take the dog “to the back” to give shots, etc. Bonus points because it’s across from Raising Canes! I highly recommend this vet office!
I could not possibly be more thrilled with the vets and vet techs at Parkers Paws! They are so loving and patient with my puggles, and are extremely accommodating. I recently had my highly anxious, senior dog in for a dental surgery and they made sure to keep her with me while they waited for results of blood work and what not during her pre-op, texted me updates during her surgery, and took excellent care of her during the surgery itself. They also gave me a very reasonable quote for this procedure, and ended up charging me LESS than I was quoted. Never have I EVER had a vet procedure come in under the estimate. I am extremely thankful to have found a vet that is reasonable priced, truly care about their patients, and give owners a voice and say. I have full confidence in all of the doctors at Parkers Paws and could not recommend them more
to Nashville? Look no further. It’s hard to find a new vet, and your fur baby cannot tell you how a visit went or how they feel post visit. My pug and I recently moved here to Nashville from Fort Lauderdale FL where she had the best vet. Not knowing anyone to recommend or steer me clear, I ended up taking her to Belmont Animal Hospital located next door to the daycare for her semi annual exam and shots. Flash forward to this past Wednesday, 7months later when I took her back for an assumed ear infection. Her left ear was infected. They took her out of the room to “treat her” not telling me how or to let me know of any possible side effects. The next day my dog could not hear out of either ear. I was panicked beyond belief not at all being prepared to have a deaf dog. It was heartbreaking. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together until after business hours on Friday so I sent a text to Belmont that was the one positive about them to let them know of my concern and to please have the dr call me upon reopening Monday morning. Thank goodness for my dental appt at this morning-prior to me hearing from the Belmont doctor. My hygienist called her fur babies’ vet, Parker’s Paws whom I would give way more than 5stars to now that I am calm and able to type. She put me on the phone with them, and they squeezed us in same day. They already had all her medical records upon our arrival. Dr. Spence was awesome. She did a basic hearing test and it was evident that my pug could not hear out of either ear. It was not clear whether Belmont “treated” both ears on Wednesday but Dr. Spence flushed out both in case to rid any of that ‘Poison’ that caused my baby to go deaf. Needless to say, hence this review, my dog can hear and I am so grateful!! We have our official family vet going forward and to make it even better the cost was very reasonable.
Friendly staff. Not a long wait. Took pet in for a friend. She waited patiently in the room.
I don’t think there are enough positive words of praise to do this veterinarian justice! The staff and doctors are incredibly informative, kind and patient. I am so happy that Dr. K and her team came recommended to us after moving here from out of state. They always take such amazing care of our dog and we are so thankful for them!
