Parkland City Police Dept

Sheriff Germain Johnson is rude,manipulative,unhelpful, and a disgrace to not just police officers, but the black community. This is my first time seeking assistance from an officer and this has been by far the worst experience ever! Of course the officers probably don’t care. You need to do better! I hope know one has to go through what I had to go through.

Let's forget about arming the teachers for now. Somebody needs to ask why the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School resource officer Scot Petersen was armed, in uniform and “clearly” knew there was an active shooter but did “nothing” to intervene for 4 whole minutes! The entire shooting lasted 6 minutes? He hid behind a concrete post outside a stairwell. Why aren't our politicians and leaders obliterating your Sheriffs Department? There were two other officers who showed up as well? We need answers Sheriff???

We have been in the city for six months. We picked Parkland because of how safe it is. We live two blocks away from West Glades middle school and could not be happier with the police presence in the city. Sure other cities do not like the way they manage the people. However those cities are very busy. Those cities have high crime rates. Those cities don’t respect the police force. Unfortunately this lens is only looked through one way by the majority of the general public. It’s unfair that people take their complaints to the Internet and think there will be resolve. Support your local law-enforcement like I do. You might not agree with everything they do and say, however they are here for one reason and that is to protect and serve. This is what they do and it could not be a tougher time in the history of mankind to be a peace officer. Thank you BSO for the continued security of our community. RJ Feist

Bless all officers, the families of all the children lost along with the brave teachers that helped to protect those poor frightened children. I am a mother that lost my oldest to suicide 22 years ago. The pain never goes away from losing a child. My heart goes out to all. Please know I am hear for anyone to contact if they just want to talk. No one should ever have to lose their child. Bless you all

Your chief of Police Scott Israel is a credit to you a real American straight talking law officer. I saw him on TV in the UK and see him as a real postive change for America. I love my American friends and fear for their future at the moment. Please stay safe all in Parkland. Xx

Instead of investigating Parkland shooting radio problems to see if the radio equipment was installed properly likely wasn't the county is now giving even more money to the company that is likely responsible for poor radio communications in Broward. Reward the losers with public money is how the dems like it. Of course 10% of that money is kicked back to county officials in cash by the contractor. Business as usual in south florida

Not 1 but FOUR of these worthless cowards stayed outside while children were slaughtered inside Douglas high school. This was after they went to the murderers house 30 times and did nothing I bet if the dispatcher said there was a kid with a gram of Mairjuana to arrest they would've all gone running in.

If these police would do they jobs the school shooting might have been stopped but who knows. Dont ask these cops to look into a suspicious person cause they wont do anything feb 13 was a showing of your great police department.

The Cowards from Broward are an American disgrace. Poor leadership led to the slaughter of children....and your officers stood down while it happened. A complete disgrace. Karma will come for all of you.
