Parks Drug

I’m a type 1 diabetic, and have been for 15 years. I’ve never had to get a prescription for a box of syringes until last year. There was confusion and mix up through the previous pharmacy I had been using and once I got the prescription they requested they informed me they no longer carry that length of syringe. So, I went to parks drug since they told me after a call I made to them that they carry the length I needed. At the time, I had the prescription due to the previous pharmacy requesting one. The lady at the time informed me after I asked that a prescription was not required by them. A box of syringes lasts me a long time. I needed some more as I am running low. However; I asked my mom to go for me since I had forgotten to run by this morning on my errand run to purchase some. My mom then informed me that the lady who serviced her was very rude when my mom explained she needed to purchase a box for me since I had forgotten. My mom had a photo of the kind I needed and showed the lady. The lady then tossed a single bag to my mom and didn’t charge her for it....and, it was the wrong size. I have a ton of scare tissue from taking shots all day every day. I called the store to let them know what had happened. They informed me I had not had a prescription since 5/19. And I was trying to explain to her why I had a prescription at that time and that the lady who serviced me previously told me they did not require a prescription. As well as a box of syringes lasts me a good while. While I tried to explain this to her, she rudely interrupted me and would not allow me to speak. I understand that a prescription is now needed going forward, but if that was all that was holding up when my mom went. The lady could have kindly told her that they will require a prescription in order to purchase the syringes instead of tossing a bag at her of the wrong size and not requiring her to pay for them... I’ve never had a horrible experience with them until today. Never again will I go through them.

Was on vacation and needed my medication refilled. We live in Missouri. Called Parks Drug Store in Denison Texas. They were very nice and helpful . They called my drug store and had my medication filled and ready in less than an hour. They sent me a text to let me know when it was ready.. So thankful for their help . They were able to pull up my insurance and everything was set and ready for me when I got there.

I really enjoyed giving my business to this pharmacy. Everyone there were so kind and friendly. However when they process your prescription with your ins co, if for any reason it does not go through they make absolutely no effort to call your insurance company. I have never experienced that at any pharmacy even Walmart calls ins co when necessary So disappointed, nice people.

I JUST transferred all my prescriptions to Parks Rx today, and was promised that the most important ones wherein I absolutely cannot skip a dose would absolutley be delivered today it is Friday. They DID NOT get delivered and now the pharmacy is closed until 9 a.m. Monday. Im without medication until sometime Monday afternoon or evening, whenever they decide to deliver it. TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNACCEPTABLE. I guess I'll be looking for yet another new pharmacy. There don't seem to be any in Denison that are accurate and reliable.

My daughter gets prescriptions filled here all the time and everyone that works here is very nice.

Alway looking out for me on refills or alternate med for cheaper price or less issues with a current med I already tske. The watch out for your wellbeing. Nice friendly staff m

Give this place a try. Great cash prices if you don't have prescription insurance. The staff is always nice and knowledgeable too.
