If you are looking for a country style cooking buffet and ambiance, this mom and pop place is it. The food is as fresh as home cooked meals, and so delicious and fulfilling. I highly recommend the chicken and rice soup, mashed potatoes, and rotisserie chicken. They were so full of flavor!Food: 5/5

This place has a home town feel to it as soon as you walk in. Employees greeted is a we walked in then other patrons have us a friendly smile. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable for my family. The French Toast was my kids' favorite. I will come back one day to try the lunch buffet.Food: 5/5

Great place to go enjoy a quiet lazy late lunch! The food is about what you would expect on a buffet...I don't recommend the chicken fried steak. Just a processed fried patty. But the fried chicken and everything else was delicious! The salad bar has a nice variety of fresh foods. The atmosphere feels like you have stepped back into the late 70s, and there are lots of interesting things to see on the walls. And you can't beat the price!

Staff was friendly. Plenty of choices and The food was pretty good for a buffet. The price was right. The chocolate cake and the veggie beef soup were my favorite things.

Good home style food. Buffet style so plenty to eat. Still can't find good southern corn bread. Thought maybe here but no. Everything else is greatFood: 5/5

Good food and good selection in this old building. It is all buffet help yourself style here with a good salad selection too. Pretty good desserts. Nothing at all fancy here at all. Very basic. I went by myself, and the total was $18.95, which I thought was high, but I guess all food prices have gone up.Food: 4/5

Need to revamp food! Look @ Schoebels in Columbus, TX and you will see what I am talking about. Parks Restaurant has alot of potential if they change the food. The service and atmosphere is great, but need to make a change with food...Food: 2/5
