Parkside Obstetrics, Gynecology & Midwifery S.C. is a group of one Obstetrician, Dr. Robert Koss, and two Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)/ Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNP), Anna Mikos and Lisa Grossman. We work together to provide personalized, high-quality, safe and up to date health care to women from menarche to beyond menopause. We believe through educating ourselves and our patients we empower our patients to be more involved in their health care decisions.
Our office is located at 1875 Dempster St, Suite 465, Park Ridge, IL 60068 and we can be reached at 847-825-1100. Our obstetrical care is provided at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL which is a certified Trauma Center, with a level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and 24 hour in house Anesthesia.
Dr. Robert Koss is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He was educated in Chicago receiving a B.S. from Loyola University and an M.D. from Rush University Medical School. Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge is where he did his internship and residency. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Koss has been in practice for over 25 years. He and his wife have five children, two grandchildren, 3 dogs and a cat named Steve. Dr. Koss loves spending time with his family, traveling, gardening and cooking.
Anna Mikos is a Board Certified Advance Practice Nurse who joined our practice in 2014. She received her undergraduate nursing degree at Northern Illinois University. After nursing school she worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Christ Hospital Medical Center and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital for 8 years. Anna attended University of Illinois at Chicago Graduate School of Nursing and completed her graduate studies in 2011. She is Board Certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Midwife. Anna provides a variety of obstetric and gynecology services to women of all ages, from adolescence to menopause, believing that mutual trust, education and awareness are vital in promoting health.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and loves to travel. Anna is fluent in Polish.
Lisa Grossman joined Parkside in 2016. She received her undergraduate nursing degree at Elmhurst College. After nursing school, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital for 10 years. Lisa then attended University of Illinois at Chicago for graduate school and earned a Master of Science in Nursing. Lisa is board certified as a Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, she also speaks Spanish. In her spare time Lisa loves to spend time with family, work out and travel.
