New management has came in a went straight to work on the apartments. Ms.Tracie Coleman has been very helpful and communication is very straight forward. I understand that they have to caught up what the last management passed over. For the most give them a chance. The location is also great for my family!
These apartments underwent new ownership a month ago. I have seen so much positive going on around here that I am amazed. These people are going through here fixing everything up that the previous ownership neglected. I am really encouraged and excited for the future here given all the positive steps that this companies Management seems to take. The jury is still out on how it will end up in play out but it does look very encouraging. I would suggest giving them a try if you can. It’s a fairly quiet complex everybody’s friendly everybody knows each other. Everybody waved at each other as passing people know their neighbors. It is just very nice.
New owner are really getting things done! I’ve seen many repairs being done in the first week they have been here! Thank y’all Although a lot of us tenants aren’t looking forward to the new short patio walls. Hoping there will be a door too because anyone can just enter the porch and steal. They already steal with doors on patios so I can imagine it will be way more convenient without a door. Also no privacy with those short walls we got patio for privacy and with the new porch design privacy will be a thing of the past at parkside. I can guarantee thefts of tenants patio items will increase with this new design. They are adorable yes but I feel the needs of tenants paying rents wasn’t considered in this new design. Hopefully I’m wrong, maybe this review will make some adjustments occur and in favor of tenants needs
Yeah they may be fixing everything up. But they also taking away our privacy fence. If that's what you wanna call a 3 foot high fence. Was one of the things I liked sitting on my porch not seeing anyone they not see me. Thieves can now take whatever they want off your back porch. And see what they wanna take. Like they want more thieves to come thru the apartments. That's exactly what's gonna happen. Especially since now they can just lean over the fence. I myself have had stuff stolen off my porch. But if the fence was this high they would have taken everything
I was very loyal to this place, but about 4 months ago a backed up kitchen drain made my stay there unbearable, the poor managementteam, would come to deny the problem. Which made me have to move out. At first I was told that problem would be fixed within a week, so I kept praying rent for next couple months, on the third month I decided I was not gonna pay rent and proceeded to move. The management decided to evict me and wanted to charge me over $4000, for breaking lease, all the while the mess they said would be fixed in a week got worse. This was not good for my credit or rental history, but I'm gonna fix that. So now I hired an attorney and it's time for a law suit. So please if you want to avoid having problems like mine at these "apartments", don't move here.
I would strongly advice against moving in to this complex. Do not believe the photoshopped pictures they post. Now more than ever it is apparent that the owners are taking as much money as they want raising rent, only to not use it on the tenants basic needs. There are constant water and power outages, maintenance is awesome but the front office is horrible. Arguing with u and they cheaped me out of my "free" first months rent by having me move in at the end of the month. Do not trust these people, They will take your entire security deposit for NO REASON
Horrible apartment complex. I lived here for a year and I was praying to god for my lease to end so i can move out. Left them my security deposit because they never came to fix things that we asked them to fix many times and i thought that would be enough. Instead, apparently they said i owed $998 for small things that aren’t even worth that much. They sent it to debt collectors instead of contacting me directly first. These people are money hungry. This was my first apartment and now i know what to look for in other apartments. These people are horrible. Literally one month i was left without A/C and light for a week and my food went bad, it was so hot and unlivable conditions, i had to go somewhere else!! Dont live here! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS PLACE!!!
Terrible place to live toilets and drainage was backed up for weeks had to contact the mayor's office. Maintenance would not respond to concerns. Then when you move they tack on so much extra fees it's incredible. They just want your money and then when you're there they could care less.
Currently a resident. A/C Unite never works. I have to call at least 3 times every time it breaks and this happens at least 2 times a month... stove broke and hasn't been replaced in 2 months from notice. Fence's Back door is been broken since we moved a year ago. I've had happened to me everything you see in other reviews kitchen sinks flooding, a/c unit breaking, roaches, non responsive staff, clogged restroom, water being cut off at random hours, etc., and they dare to raise rent prices as if it was worth it? If I could afford it I wouldn't be here for sure. You sure are quicker to answer to a review than fixing your issues. I wanna cut some slack to the team members since they don't own the place, but at the same time they don't have sense of urgency towards maintenance issues for their tenants.
Do NOOOTTT move here. I can not stress that enough. If i could give them negative stars i would. Roaches everywhere ! When you call they tell you what you want to hear , or they ignore you. I had to break my lease due to roaches crawling on me in my sleep and falling into my food. The sinks are all clogged. The water is never on. Our stove didn’t work. Roaches living in our console and TV’s. I’m sure they’ll try to charge us from windows being broken by the kids in at apts. they’ve gone through so many apt managers it’s ridiculous. Save your money. Save your time. And save your sanity.
