At the Parkway Veterinary Hospital (now part of the Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego), we are committed to supporting the human-animal bond, and have been a strong advocate since our inception of 1986. We believe the bond between people and their companion animals provides joy, enrichment, balance and health benefits to both, and the relationship deserves the highest level of respect and compassion.
We understand that animal companions can represent some of the most important relationships in a person’s life. Animals bring us great happiness while asking very little of us in return. This vet helped me when no one else would. I can't say enough good things about them. They were professional, friendly and the place was very clean. I highly recommend!
Our German shepherd-border collie mix is 13+ years old and has a lot of medical problems - seizures, severe food allergies and skin issues, frequent ear and skin infections, joint problems - plus a terrible attitude! We have had a good experience here, the techs and vets are very patient with him, and most importantly he’s been doing really well considering all his issues, so they’ve been doing a great professional job! He takes 9 different medications 17 pills a day! and we have had way fewer issues with getting refills and such than we have had with other vets. No, it’s not the least expensive option, but I feel like it’s a wonderful value and it’s always extremely clean and pleasant!
All of our rescue dogs are now under the great care of these wonderful doctors and staff. Every single staff member is courteous, from the front desk to technicians. We completely left the other Vet clinic on Boone’s Ferry rd. after the owner sold the clinic to a big corporation and everything went down hill from there. We have been very pleased with everything. They took one of the dogs when needed for immediate assistance and the Emergency waiting list was like 12 hours. They literally saved this dog’s life pictured here. We are blessed to have them in this neighborhood. Please be kind to the staff there, we need them around.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Todd Inman. We have moved across town to SE Portland, and still go to this vet specifically because of him. He’s taken great care of our 12 year old dog and 17 year old cat over the years — always kind and direct, and doesn’t project shame. We have not had quite as much luck with some of the other vets which is why it’s not a 5 ranking, but I have recommended him to all of our pet owner friends in SW.
This clinic has been beyond accommodating for my best buddies needs! The staff all know my cat and seem delighted to see him. Dr. Shannon has been taking care of Louie for many years now and It's clear to me he loves her and has developed a special bond with a very special person! Louie and I would be lost without her! I highly recommend this compassionate and dedicated veterinary hospital for any pet! He's pictured her anxiously awaiting the arrival of his friend, Dr. Shannon.
This veterinary hospital / clinic is hands down one of the best in the area. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable, the staff kind and caring and they offer grooming services as well as boarding services. They have doctors available after hours for care and phone questions. This practice definitely instills confidence.
The staff at Parkway are the best! Kind, loving, supportive and knowledgeable. Dr. Trerise and Dr. Todd have been providing health care to my family for over 20 years. My little Shih Tzu, Lily Anna, loves the Parkway staff. We have also utilized boarding at Parkway with very positive experiences. Thank you Parkway for all you do for your patients and their families!
We discovered Parkway Vet when our previous dog needed a specialist and now all three of our dogs are patients. We've been with Dr. Rebecca Juvenal for a while now and she's fantastic. On the occasions where we needed to get squeezed into whatever appointment was available and use a different doctor, we've always had a great experience!
I made an appointment with Dr Martin Trerise for my 8 year old Boston Terrier to get a lump checked on her back leg. He confirmed her lump was a mast cell and we made an appointment immediately to get it removed. During surgery he called to inform us she had another lump in a difficult area and gave us the option to see a specialist or let him continue with surgery. We chose to let him complete the procedure and I am so happy we did. He was able to completely remove both mast cells so she won't need additional surgery. Dr Trerise is caring and doesn't make you feel rushed at your appointments or when you call asking questions. He gives you different options for treatment that don't make you feel pressured to proceed one way. He is an amazing Vet and I can't thank him enough for the care both my dogs have received from him.
We switched to The Parkway vet a little over a year ago when our previous vet couldn't fit us in for days when my senior dog suddenly stopped being able to walk and within a week of seeing them he was back to his old self. I directly credit them for giving us another year with him. They made time for us when we were new patients, and then again more recently with an emergency situation. I'm thankful to their team for doing what they could to save our dog, and being incredibly compassionate when it turned out he couldn't be saved. I will continue to bring our cat and any future pets to The Parkway, because of their above and beyond care for our dog in his twilight years
