I put in my application and the next day I called and left messages asking if my application was approved and never received a phone call back. Called again the next day and received an email with my rental background check but didn’t say whether or not it was approved or denied. My background check was perfect and so was credit. I emailed back asking what this meant if I was approved or not? Still nothing. Called on Monday still leaving messages. Called Tuesday finally spoke to a “Temp”. She was going to contact the owner and see what was going on. Now it’s Saturday and all I want is my application fee back of $90.00 I think that’s fair for never getting back with me. In this hot market it’s not fair to do this to people when they need to find a place to live. Don’t waste your time they never call back. 1 star is very generous.
Lived here for several years. Trauma from this place. The downstairs neighbor had bugs that infest your bed, made their way up to the maintenance apartment. Downstairs neighbor were moved out, but a family young couple with two children less than five years old were moved in a week. Their children were eaten alive. The apartment manager tried blaming everyone in the world but decided to charge the couple Fees in fumigation. Thoroughly check the corners, in vents, window ceils and anywhere a bed goes. Check the closet. Before you move in. We had roach issues. They came up and out the drains so I kept traps and constant cleaning.
I'm writing this complaint in regards to my brother and sister in law. They are currently residing at the Parkwood Terrace apartments in Bremerton paying $1500 a month. In the last year and a couple months that they have resided there, the neighbors above them shot a bullet shot through their ceiling. The bullet went through the ceiling and then went through the center of their roommate's bed. Just moments after she got up for dinner. Their car had been vandalized a month after they got it leaving a big dent in their quarter panel. The apartment is infested with black mold, they complained about it to the manager a couple months after they moved in. The manager had maintenance come in and paint over it telling them that it was fixed. In the kids bedroom there is black mold all along the exterior wall and in the closet. It was on their toys, clothes and had started to grow on their bunk beds. The exterior wall is leaking water from the rain onto the floor. The black mold has affected everyone's health including the four year old twins. They have all been coughing, experiencing headaches, and chronic fatigue. They are now trying to move out do to these circumstances, in order for them to move out of the apartment the management wants them to pay $2650.00. These are some of the other circumstances that have helped them decide to move. The manager did not fix the problem but instead only covered up the mold problem, when they asked the apartment manager about them repairing the hole in the ceiling the apartment manager said "I don't know what you are talking about it's not in your file." Even though they have a case number from the police department. Considering how inhabitable this apartment is we all feel that there shouldn't be a fee to cancel their lease. We are contacting the health department and a lawyer to try to resolve this issue.
Buildings are old but maintenance keeps up nicely. Jackie the manager of Parkwood Terrace apartments was very polite and willing to help me as much as she possibly could in order for me to get into an apartment. When I have a complaint it is always addressed within the day or a few days later. If I have any questions she is always willing to help.
Their is nothing redeeming about this place.BIG WARNING there is glass in the parking lot all the time so watch your tires. The management is grossly incompetent the people that live here will still your stuff, leave their trash all over and Blast music all day and night. The on site laundry is a joke it’s only available if the Managua in and that’s basically mon-fri 9 to 4 so if you have a job good luck doing laundry. I’ve been here less than a year and the exterminator has been here 4 times. Each time you have to pack up everything and they don’t show up the day you were told so you end up living out of boxes for a week each time. And no heads of form the management. Who thinks that’s no big deal to make residents live out of boxed for a week each time. If you need to speak to the regional manager good luck she apparently doesn’t have a phone or an email address and if she’s going to contact you it’s from a restricted number so heaven for bid that you’re an EMT on your way to go work at heart attack and don’t have time to talk to her right then she’ll never call you back. The management here will threaten you with fines left and right if you don’t have everything just the way that they decided that they want it the day before or if you don’t have everything ready for the exterminator he doesn’t show up yet they will issue you absolutely no credit for whenever they messed things up. I’ve been in apartments for over 15 years and this one is by far the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had
It's been a year since I lived here, thank god. I'm writing a review now because I'm not seeing anyone talk about the problem I had. I moved in, noticed these bugs on the wall and ignored it, time went on, I started noticing them on my tv...coffee maker....every appliance. It turned out to be cockroaches. Hundreds. They infested every electronic thing I owned, xbox, tv, coffee maker, kitchen appliances, chargers, you name it. I complained twice to the office and never received any help. I had to toss everything I owned when I moved. EVERYTHING. There was also a leak in the kitchen from the person above, it caused mold and water damage to all my things that were in the kitchen pantry area. No one came to fix it or clean it up. I stored my personal photos and books there, ruined. The carpeting was horrible the moment I moved in. While vacuuming carpet started coming up at the edges and oh wow, carpet was under carpet? it was weird and not remotely glued to the ground. Maintenance never helped, no one was ever at the office, and they would put notices on my door way later than they should have. OH and the parking lot is awful, and very sketchy. OH and last thing, weird people in general live there, always cops being called and gun shots. I know this sounds fake but it's not lol, this place gave me ptsd.
Received a notice tayped on my door 3 days before the 20th to come by and renew my lease. And notified my rent went from $825 to $975. And was increased the same manner the end of that lease. Units need work. Carpet is gross, cupboards are chipping away. Not worth the money!
Bre was very helpful and answered all the questions I had about the apartments
So This has nothing to do with the inside of the apartments but mainly the outside I liked it better when it was brown and a tan color And also liked it when we had a park that was complete but now ever since y’all tried to make a new park for us Y’all never finished it and it’s been MONTHS and I really don’t find this place enjoyable anymore And we want our basketball court FIXED *the tetherball part* And yeah that’s all I wanted to say
Our manager Jackie is always very nice and easy to talk to and the maintenance team has always been very polite and respectful. Any issues or concerns are always addressed very quickly.
