Partners for Education at Berea College mission is to increase educational outcomes in the children we serve and in rural Appalachian Kentucky. A department within Berea College, we partner with schools, community organizations and parents to increase proficiency in Math and Reading and to increase high school graduation, college going and college success rates.
Our theory of change is that a well-coordinated collaboration of partners working with parents, implementing well-designed programs and closely monitoring services will increase educational outcomes in individual children and in the community as a whole.
Our work is based on research and evidence and focused on results.
