while i didn’t stay here myself, we spent an evening here visiting my dad who is staying there. it is beautiful and both the ground level patio bar and roof top bar are comfortable places to catch up and have a few drinks. the views are beautiful. the grounds are so cute and well kept. the hotel in a great location close to downtown. beautiful place with a lot of history. i can’t speak on the rooms because i didn’t go inside one but my dad did say he received a room upgrade and who doesn’t love that?? .
Hotel is very cute and picturesque. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The AC in our room did not work and a tech came up to fix it but it never got working. Such is life sometimes. The restaurant is well decorated and comfortable and unlike other reviewers we had a good waiter other than drink delivery time. The lobster Mac n cheese was awesome! The mussels I got was a great size serving but overcooked heavily shells were crumbling and somewhat cool when put on table. My son's fries came out cold and had to be sent back. The old fashioned drink here was very well done. A mixed bag at the restaurant overall.
The staff at The Partridge Inn make you feel welcome the moment you pull up at the hotel. They are helpful not only with the room and hotel amenities but also with local attractions and restaurants ideas. Although we did not use it the convenience of the shuttle is a nice touch. Our only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower and the shower was small. Not sure if the shower size was because we had a corner room. It wasn't a big deal to us so we didn't ask about other rooms. Overall, I would stay here again because of it being a convenient location to downtown, the friendliness of the staff, and cleanliness of the hotel.
The rooms are over priced we paid 292 for one night and I’ve stayed in very expensive places this place just wasn’t what it as supposed to be ‍‍and it’s a dark and dull hotel. The pool was cloudy , I could barely stay in the water for 5 minutes without having to get out because of things floating . The room had no microwave we would have to go downstairs to warm food up , also the bar and the dining hall is very expensive but the food is actually good.also the coffee machine wouldn’t work either .3 minutes into getting settled in the rooms we had to call downstairs for a plumber to come because the toilet wasn’t flushing. I definitely would have stayed in the quality inn in Had we not already paid for the room. I would give this whole hotel a 3/10 would not recommend. you should save your money and go somewhere where you actually get what you pay for.. Kelle at the front desk was cool, she was very inviting and very honest.
I was in town for the Ironman race. We had to unexpectedly find accommodations as our AirBnB reservations fell through. I found the Partridge Inn and booked a king 1 bedroom suite. We loved the charm of the historic hotel. The bed was super comfortable and clean. All of the employees were super and made our overall customer experience wonderful! However, one stood out the most, Will, our bellman was so helpful, informative and made us fell like we were best friends. Just top notch customer service. We ate at the restaurant twice, food was that good, that we disnt mind the prices. I will admit I was disappointed there wasn't cheesecake on the second night. Our server explained they didn't bake just perfectly and thr manager didn't want to sell them. I almost begged just to eat them even if they looked ugly. Overall, really wonderful experience. I don't think any negative we did experience is even with mentioning! I don't forsee traveling back to Agusta personally but I would reccomend this quaint historic inn! Nearby activities: Very close to the downtown area. Food & drinks: Excellent meals Noteworthy details: Loved the historic details.
I've stayed at this hotel muliple times over the last few weeks. My first impressions were positive. I had a corner room on the 5th floor. The views were wonderful....however, that is one of the few positives I have. 1. The price you are quoted for your stay on the Hilton Honors app is incorrect. They will charge a $20/day parking fee, without issuing a pass or asking you to register a vehicle. 2. The parking area despite the daily charge is not secure. There are no passes, gates, or cameras. Twice I've had things stolen out of my truck from the parking garage. After speaking with some of the night staff, this isn't unheard of. Shout out to Norman for taking my information and being helpful. 3. While I understand that this is a historic hotel, Hilton really cut some corners here. One of the rooms I stayed in had its' closet built out from the pre-existing one. But it was done so that you could still see the original closet tucked into this cavity in the wall. Another room, had a suspicious leak coming from the tiles around my shower on my last stay. I assume it's from rusty pipes as the liquid was reddish brown and stained when it dried. Safety: Ensure that you have your vehicle secured. Someone will eventually break into it, especially here. This includes roof racks or anything that may look accessible.
We had a wonderful stay at the Partridge Inn! We stopped on our way to and on our way back from Alabama! Perfect halfway point as we traveled from NC. Beautiful hotel! Grand veranda! We enjoyed dinner and cocktail’s at the bar and rooftop bar! Such a pleasant experience for two traveling grandmothers!! Food & drinks: We had delicious dinners and breakfasts! The rooftop bar was so lovely in the evening! And the hotel team members were so attentive and enthusiastic! We look forward to another trip!
This hotel does not look like the hotel that is advertised this hotel location is horrible parking is horrible. Cleanliness is a six. The paint is old bubbling and chipping. Part of the hotel has a smell because there is a leak in the ceiling that trash cans were put out. Hopefully they will get that cleaned up, they make you pay for parking even if you are not valet they should be ashamed to be charging the prices that they are charging for these rooms if you are looking for a luxury hotel room please continue to look what you see online is not what you will be riding up to when you arrive I was so ready to go at the end of my stay that I gathered my things and left before sunrise. The air conditioning is not air conditioning hot all night long. I have attached a picture of the corner of the bathroom floor entryway just an example of the cleanliness and the paint job. I wish I would’ve taken more pictures of the place but I was over it.
As the remote controller in my pictures, the hotel looks great in pictures, but in reality it is the second remote picture, held on by tape. The hotel has been neglected and is being sold as an “Antique”, in reality, it is just plain old. The staff is not as friendly as they could, we reported that the room service went into our room before we checked out and had the “do not disturb” sign on the room, they couldn’t care less… they charged for parking even though it is advertised as free parking. The room 514 had a musty smell and in the pictures you can see it is being held on by paint landlord special all over the place. I did not feel welcome at all, so I cancelled my stay and only stayed for one night. This hotel is advertised as “Historic” but it is history. The floors are uneven and can be a hazard, they are wood covered with carpet and I wouldn’t recommend for older folks, just to avoid a potential accident. Electrical violations are also all over. Would not recommend.
My recent stay at The Partridge Inn was unfortunately less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, the hotel itself is charming and has the historical vibe its website heavily boasts. It’s clear the building has seen some wear and tear but that’s to be expected with a historic building and I thought the decor throughout the hotel was quite charming. The room itself was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. There was not any complimentary water in the room which I was surprised by given this is a Hilton Curio Collection Hotel. I will also say the 8595 restaurant had great food and the servers we had were great Ashley and Annie. Where the negatives come in are with customer service and overall staff efficiency. My friend and I went to the restaurant bar on our first day to order drinks and an appetizer. Drinks and food came out reasonably quick and were good. However after that we were never checked on again. We sat for quite awhile with empty glasses and were never asked if we wanted more drinks or anything else for that matter. We eventually gave up and just got the bill. That evening we had the unfortunate luck of the room next to us being extremely loud. They were clearly having a party as they played loud music and had a lot of people coming in and out. Keep in mind this hotel already has extremely thin walls and essentially no soundproofing so you are likely to hear your neighbors even if they are speaking at a considerate volume. These guests were not. At about 11:15 my friend called the front desk which we had to google because our in room phone had no labels or directory to reach other areas of the hotel which I found strange. It was also not even plugged in. The female employee who answered was clearly stressed and was speaking with another guest while taking the call. She seemed agitated but said she would send security to to check on the situation. No one came. About 30 minutes later I called the front desk and spoke with another employee who yelled for security telling him “you need to go up, they’ve called twice”. Some minutes later the security guard arrives at the neighboring room and knocks. Again, because the walls are thin we could hear someone open the door and the security guard say “This room called twice to complain about the noise”. He seemed to be playing the buddy card and didn’t want to be the one to ruin their fun. I also found it surprising he would tell them who made the noise complaint as that could potentially be a safety issue we don’t know these people and they have been drinking- I wouldn’t want someone to get upset and do something irrational. Seems like pretty standard hotel policy not to do that. The party didn’t stop and continued until about 1:00am. Upon checkout, the front desk employee asked us how our stay was and we were honest in telling her it was a rough night due to the room next door having a party. She nodded her head up and down and said “mmmm mhmmm, I bet”. And that was it. Of course you cannot blame a hotel for the behavior of its guests but I do expect a certain response from staff to remedy the situation or at least seem apologetic as this hotel is classified as a Hilton Curio Collection Hotel. This is easily the worst customer service I’ve experience in staying at that label of hotel. Additionally, after having brunch at the restaurant that afternoon we went to use the bathroom nearby and it was filthy. There was no toilet paper in either stall and the floor was covered in hair and other things. It was after 12:00pm at this point and it was clear no one had been in there to clean. Standard of service from The Partridge Inn is mediocre at best and though there were some positives I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to others.
