Since 1892, the Pasadena Public Health Department has been responsible for helping protect, maintain and improve the health of the Pasadena community. The City of Pasadena is one of only three cities in the state of California that maintains its own independent local health jurisdiction with responsibility for a wide variety of services that support the three core public health functions of assessment, policy development and assurance.

I recently use to work at canoe house south Pasadena and recently quit because of the food they are putting out is gonna get people sick. I called Health department in the past and no one ever showed up! The restaurant is not rotating food just placing new on top of old no fifo no labels or dates,things stay past expectation date on prepped items, equipment isn't getting cleaned properly,people eating and drinking on line, fruit bugs all over,ect... I could go on forever to harassment to discrimination even hostile environment.But I'll just post pictures instead

Was here for my Daughter's birth certificate in may 2020 durijg covid period and it was very quick. Again in 2022 went to get my Son's dob and it was also very quick service. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I've literally been on hold over 20 minutes. I paid extra money to have a document done on the same day and shocker... it's not done and Patricia can't return a phone call within a timely manner. I am demanding a refund for the "express" fee. It would of been cheaper for me to drive from AZ back to Pasadena to get the darn thing myself.

Horrible experience with the dental clinic.  I want to know where I can lodge a complaint.  Mistreatment at the hands of the dentist left me traumatized.  She should either be disciplined or fired.  Rude and incompetent.  Tried to drill me while the anesthesia had not taken effect, ignored me when I told her that. They used to have good service.  I think she lied to me and told me there was no longer a senior service.  I am checking into that.  Horrible person!

Went here to get my daughter's birth certificate. Hassle free. Very friendly service too.

Every employee is extremely rude and condescending to each other and to patients.
