Very large dog park surrounded by amazing hiking trails! The dog park is well maintained but a little dusty near the gates. It is quite large though which gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play. The dogs and people are very friendly and respectful of everyone’s boundaries, which helped make the experience very enjoyable. After playing the park we were able to go hiking around the trails that border the back of the park. Make sure to check out the views!
If you don't go on the hiking trails, there is a large fenced area for larger dogs and another for smaller dogs. The grounds are very green and look maintained. It gets pretty busy around noon. There is additional parking on the side road. Everyone is very friendly!
Great place for dogs of all sizes to run and play. Lots of fun to see dogs being dogs Has water fountain and bowls, bags for picking up after and several garbage cans for disposal
Great place to take a hike, or let your dog off leash. Dog-friendliness: My dog Jack-Sun had a great time running around with other dogs. Enough shade for all the pups to find shelter from the midday sun. Nice trails surrounding the dog park as well.
On a Thursday afternoon. It was quiet and warm. My hike to the top was short but steep. Saw lots of rodent holes in the ground some of them quite large it’s seems as though the area is plentiful with Possum, skunk, fox, coyote and deer. I bet at night that park has lots of nocturnal animal activity. Although one will never know because the park is closed at night
I love Paso Nogal Dog Park! The terrain is great for dogs to play and the locals are super sweet and welcoming. I just wish it had lights for nighttime. The trails behind the park are great for a bunch of short hikes and there's lots of smells for doggie enrichment.
Paso Nogal Park and the dog park are amazing and have great little trails for all kinds of physical ability. The dog park is amazing and so many dogs take advantage of it.
Closed fence dog park that divides big and small dogs. Some patches of grass, but mostly patches of dirt and soft gravel. Moderate amounts of trees for shade along with benches/seating and supplied water fountain.
Stumbled upon this amazing green space today! Didn't know it was this park til a fellow passerby told me because I entered through a side street. Absolutely gorgeous 360 views of Mount Diablo Valley!!
Best dog park in the east Bay in my opinion. Watch out for gopher holes.
