I found out about this place a little over a month ago & haven’t stopped coming since!!! The BEST place for Breakfast, Lunch & a little dinner!! The food & service is an all time “10”!! My holiday fun with “Cakes & Pies” will definitely start HERE!!Food: 5/5
I have been eating at Pastries of Denmark for years. The food is great. Not to mention the customer service is awesome. The owner goes above & beyond to make sure his customers are happy. They recently just remodeled & it looks so amazing in there. I would recommend Pastries to anyone I know. Also, the landscaping is beyond gorgeous. You get to enjoy great food with a great scenery.
A great little place for breakfast or lunch. Love to stop in the morning for a croissant sandwich to take to the office. Andy is always friendly and quick! So many options and amazing pastries as well. If you get lunch you always get a mini pastry added, which is a nice treat. Definitely recommend!Food: 5/5
I’m shocked. The coffee prices are not listed on the menu like the overpriced food is, so somehow I ended up with a plain cappuccino for over $6. Then, the man at the counter, who also cooks and answers the phone and seems to handle everything owner?? took my payment but never showed me the screen or gave me a receipt, just put headphones in and walked away. I thought that was strange, so I checked my credit card statement, and the pending charge bumped up for this, and he gave himself a $9 tip it appears. My friend also was shocked how much his pastry and coffee cost, let’s see if he had a tip added too
This is a reliable restaurant with fantastic, fresh sandwiches, soups, and pastries. Their display cabinet of delectables is a marvel with the number of different offerings. Staff are pleasant, and take-out is a breeze. Great spot for lunch take-out.
This place and it’s food is “looks good on the outside but not the inside.” Like others who have reviewed, desserts from dessert case has that old freezer taste. My kid didn’t know better but I had to stop him from eating them. Ordered a panini, the bread was warm but the precooked salmon was ice cold. Place could use an update. Staff was new so was a little bit lost on all things dessert and the menu. I had no problems ordering but there was a struggle with the older customers.
WOW! Today was my first time at Pastries of Denmark, and I will absolutely be back! The service was phenomenal and fast, and the food was delicious. I tried the turkey and bacon sandwich, the chicken noodle soup, and picked up a variety of desserts. Definitely recommend this place!Recommended dishesBakery, Cannoli, SoupParking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot
I was surprised at how dingy and depressing the atmosphere is here. I had long heard about this shop and thought it would have more ambient character. There is no music and one can only hear the whirring of the pastry display case refrigerators. Not a good place to enjoy a pastry and tea or coffee, in my opinion. The look of the pastries did not excite me. Numerous of the Parisian macarons were cracked and the display was messy and half empty. The whipped cream and fruit tarts looked deflated and downright unappealing. One of the pastry display cases was completely empty and this contributed to the shop's overall underwhelming appearance. Most of the other pastries were somewhat cute but not terribly appetizing. Overall, the sad atmosphere and displays diminished whatever redeeming qualities the pastries may have had. The cookies must be the specialty here because they did look good and were abundantly packaged in a festive manner. The somewhat helpful attendant behind the counter informed me there was no herbal tea available, which is surprising. The coffee menu was hastily scribbled with marker on a dry erase board. I only attempted to try the pain au chocolat, however at $5.41, I decided this was far too expensive considering the depressing atmosphere of the store and the mediocre size of the pastry. I therefore left without sampling anything.
I am always amazed at anything I get from this place. Lunch is always fantastic - you can’t go wrong with anything on a croissant. And the pastries, best I’ve ever had. I can’t ever decide so I usually get a few to take home. Service is always top notch and atmosphere is inviting.Food: 5/5
This place is amazing! The caramel cheesecake is seriously SO GOOD and chocolate raspberry cake is absolutely delicious as well. The owner is so nice! We will definitely be back! :Food: 5/5
