It was amazing stay.. the only issue was the electric was 30 amp, needed to upgrade to a 50 amp, so lil advice... take plenty of 20 Amp fuses. All in all, beautiful place, very friendly people!
Camped here November 25 to December 8, 2022. Only one area open right now with the boat ramp. In 14 days the trash can in the bathroom was never emptied.....and NO TOILET PAPER IN THE MENS BATHROOM!! The bathroom/shower is OLD AND OUTDATED, but that does not excuse the lack of attention to even the most basic attention the restroom received during my stay....it was simply NASTY!!!
Very nice camp grounds, beautiful area, well kept and clean. Back in spaces with water and 30 amp electricity. No sewer, but a dump station on-site.
Snow frezzying weather was great . Got below 0` 20 had to leave west no power to keep warm. Generator was not going to start. . But it was beautiful time . No fault to the park come and enjoy your time here
Great place to camp. Nice clean bathrooms. Nice clean park. Staff was very friendly. Had a great weekend. Will be coming back.
Ok for smaller rv's but roads were built before 40footers and need updated for easier access to sites. Had to fall off both sides of the road to get out a one point. Can be scary when you have to take the whole road and jacks hit the ground trying to back into site.
We stayed there all week 4-8 thru. 4-14-18. The park is very nice and quiet. Park host are very nice and helpful. Some sites are a little tough to get into. We have a 38' bumper pull, and stayed in B26. Nice view. Some sites are not real level. I would stay here again.
From US 271 take Farm Rd 906 thru Chicota, turn South on Farm Rd 197. Go past the sign for " East" & turn east on CR 35810, which turns East onto W Park Rd. Like Sanders Cove it has it has signs aplenty, a camp entry station which closes at 8:00 p.m., & 3 loops ↝ A,B, & C. Year-round campground w/ 88 sites, 83 of which have 30 amp electric hookups. You can have fun camping, picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing & w/other outdoor recreation. lands are managed for upland game & whitetail deer & are open to the public as a public hunting area. Among the game species here are deer, fox squirrel, gray squirrel, bobwhite quail, morning dove, cottontail rabbit, raccoon, & fox. Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful.
I love the place but one of the gate workers ran over my nephews toy in the road we watched him move over to run it over thx.
I have not been in forever it seems like.. I will have to make it back down very soon! I remember always going here and loving it! Great fishing!!!
