Patricia's Nail and Hair Salon Inc. was established in May 1985, by Ambler resident, Patricia Cardillo.
Her love for helping people, making them feel and look their best, is the passion that motivated and inspired Patricia to open her own business at the age of 21. The salon started with three employees and quickly grew adding additional Cosmologists, Nail Technicians, Aestheticians and a massage therapist in 1991, thus making Patricias the first Full Service Salon in Ambler Pennsylvania.
After 17 years as sole proprietor, Patricia decided to establish a partnership. Annette Cardillo Atkins and Christina Roberto, joined the salon in 2002. All local Ambler residents, with the same passions and goals when it comes to running this business. We strive to bring you the latest in styles and products by continuing to educate our staff.
Product safety is another very important business practice; using only top of the line products. All of our nail products are safe and free from the dangerous Chemical MMA (methyl methacrylate). In the early 1970s, the federal Food and Drug Administration declared the chemical to be poisonous when used on nails. However, because the chemical is so cheap, some discount salons have gone back to it rather than use safer, more-expensive products.
