Classroom teachers, working cooperatively in grade level teams, present a standards based aligned curriculum for preschool through 5th grade. Our school provides a gifted and talented program as well as English Language Learner support.
Patrick Henry encourages parental and community support through a variety of programs and opportunities. Involvement at the school includes our Parent-Teacher Organization, School Accountability Committee, and the District Accountability Committee, as well as numerous opportunities to assist in the classroom and building.
Through our School Improvement Plan (SIP) written annually, the staff and community use data collected throughout the year to identify areas for improvement in academics, safety, and school environment. The SIP and data drive the programs and instruction at Patrick Henry. RtI (Response To Intervention) provides success for all students.
Patrick Henry has high expectations for all its members. Students and staff are expected to exhibit the qualities of respect and responsibility. We also expect that students are where they are supposed to be, doing what they are supposed to do be doing and allowing others to do the same. Our Positive Behavior Support system promotes our school wide rules: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible.
