Beautiful park to picnic, fish, and walk and to enjoy nature.    Everyone was very friendly there and the park is nice and clean.   There are a lot of ducks also  There’s a playground for the kids also  We caught like 6 fish while we were there  Playground: Playground is nice and clean.  Restrooms: There are out houses  Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome on leashes  Picnic area: Very clean with tables

Oooooh I love this park. We go for simple walks, we go for fishing, we go for picnics… it’s just so nice to come and share here. There is a little park for the kids they enjoy it a lot It’s just so nice, cool, calm and relaxing to be at this park.

Beautiful park! No maps- which kinda stinks because I'm not from here and I feel there's more to it than just this pond. Lots of geese and dogs!

Lovely park for all ages.  Clean & plenty of parking.  Two portable potties very helpful.  Two playgrounds - age appropriate.   Walking  path is 0.45 miles around

Found this place while visiting Downers Grove, is a small park but a beautiful place to just sit and relax or go for a walk around pond and through the woods, is also a nice place to bring your dogs or even fishing

Love it!!! Great place to spend time with your family

A quiet and nice park off 55th street in Downers Grove, this park has a huge pond with many wildlife including geese, mallards and ducks. There is a parking lot where you can park and a walking trail around the pond.  The park is well kept, clean except for the bird droppings. There's also a catch and release fishing, benches all around where one can sit and enjoy the quiet.

Lovely for all ages -- park, pond & playground -- except for 2 challenges.  Not sure whether people who use  wheelchairs, walkers or strollers are ok with small bridge. And pedestrians who cross the street during evening rush-hour are taking their lives in their hands, due to many overly aggressive drivers who defiantly ignore the striped walkway from BOTH directions.

A bit too much rain for the faux coyotes at Patriot Park. When less water it is a very pretty park to walk around the pond. There are lots of benches on the south side of park, but none that I know of on the north side. 55th St can sounds a bit busy but we usually walk the path nearest the water. It would be nice to post a large sign at entrance to parking lots notifying the wooden bridge is non-passable. My 87yo father didn't know and walked all the way around park to find out he had too go all the way back.
