I have been familiar with this florist since at least back when I was in high school 30+ years ago and we used them for flowers for my proms.  It had been many years since I personally needed their services but as I was about to get married I thought it would be great to support an African American owned business for my special day.  Unfortunately, my experience from the very beginning really was not that great, there were miscommunication issues as well as issues with the quality of the flowers I received on my wedding day. The only good things I can say are that Ms. Paulette is very personable, as was Tony, the person who delivered my flowers, and that the delivery of my flowers on my wedding day was early approximately 8am vs noon as scheduled, but seeing the flowers, I think they ended up delivering the flowers early because they were already looking sorry and were only going to look worse as more time passed so there was no point in waiting until noon to deliver them as planned.  The flowers that I received, particularly the roses in my bridal bouquet and those in the table centerpieces we ordered, were wilted on the outside and the quality of the flowers supplied overall for my special day really just was not at all what I expected especially for what I paid.  It was really a huge disappointment and I was sorry I didn't follow my gut when we had miscommunication issues early on, so lesson learned for me.  Based on this experience, unfortunately I will have to look elsewhere going forward for any floral needs I have because if on a wedding day I received that quality I have no idea what I would get for an everyday occasion.  Frankly, I don't even know how they let those flowers I received leave their shop.

Just popped in for wife's birthday flowers and there service was impeccable. They dropped everything they were doing and made an awesome arrangement at a price much cheaper than if I ordered online. Very glad I stopped in.

I live out of town and had to order flowers for a relative's belated birthday. I called Beale's Flowers around 9AM and they were delivered within two hours. I have been using Beale's for a couple of years now and they are extremely professional and their arrangements are always perfect for every occasion. I highly recommend them for your floral needs!

I needed a local flower shop in the Philly area, and researched them on the internet. The reviews were great, so I decided to check out their website. When I called to place my order, Ms Paulette was very friendly, professional, and answered any questions I had! She apologized that my order couldn't be sent until the next day, which was fine. She said if her driver came back early, he would take the flowers that day. If not, she guaranteed they would be received the next day. Her driver even wished my loved one a Happy Birthday when the flowers were delivered. The arrangement was beautiful and looked exactly like the picture on their website. The prices are also very reasonable! If you're in need of a flower shop in the Philly area, please support! Thank you again Ms Paulette, it'sgreatly appreciated!

I ordered synpathy flowers online for a family and they were delivered same day. I am not in Philly so I called to make sure they were in the delivery area and Paulette was so friendly and helpful. The ordering process was smooth and I received emails confirming my order and price. Her nephew was very helpful as well and I am pleased with my experience.

My church needed to send a funeral spray to a service that took place out of town. We're located in Chicago and the service was in Philadelphia. I had to place the order through their website. Someone called first thing in the morning to let me know that they didn’t have some of the flowers needed. We talked over other options and they reassured me the flowers would be good. I received an image of the easel spray and it was beautiful. Paul Beale Florist took good care of our order and they did a wonderful job. I will definitely use them again if i need to send flowers in the area again.

What a wonderful family first time using them today for Mother’s Day beautiful arrangement! My wife is a huge Gladiolas fan and it’s very difficult to find places that make arrangements such as these… Extremely pleased & pleasantly surprised I will only go to the Beale’s from now on thank you Paulette for everything! And oh by the way that family can drive!
