Honestly loved everything about this trail, it runs just over a mile long. After about a quarter of the way and there’s a bench you can rest on if you are just going for a quick walk. There's plenty of room for walkers or bikers, and it's surprising just how much of a straight shot through the area this is. If you are curious about how far you’ve gone they even have quarter-mile marks as you make your way along. No litter, nothing obstructing the path anywhere. Just trees ambiance just about the entire way. The only negative thing I can say is I wish it were longer because I didn’t want it to end.
Great, paved, quite trail to walk, run and bike on. 60th to 52nd and back is 2.2miles. Can go farther if you choose.
Started at Wing Ave and traveled north 5 miles. About 1.5 or 2 miles of lovely woods, another 1/2 mile of meadow, the rest along roads -- mostly quiet neighborhoods but a few busy ones. Trail was pretty. Quiet and deserted at 6:30 weekday morning but many walkers by 8:30. A few places where trail crosses a busy road, but always at a well marked crosswalk. A few places where we had trouble finding trail after a road crossing, but it is a wide asphalt path rather than sidewalk cement so pretty easy to eventually pick it up again. Formal path appears to end at Breton Rd south of 32nd Ave, on East side. A bit hard to pick it out but there is a small break in trees and a "bike path" sign.
Beautiful little paved trail, well maintained. The parking lot is small but there is one on either end of the trail. One direction is a bit over 1 mile. There are distance markers on the trail if you want to be accurate about how far you go. Walkers, runners, dogs on leashes, and cyclists use the trail but enough room for all.
Good place to park if you want to enjoy two trails. From this location you can head North West on a straight path through residential neighborhoods or head South to ride path parallel to highway towards Kalamazoo Ave.
I love taking walks on this trail. Beautiful wooded area with different forest animals, and friendly bypassers. Great trail to jog/run and bike as well.
My friend and I have run a 5k every weekend since we have been in quarantine. We have run multiple places, but this us a favorite. It is beautiful and well kept.
Paved walking trail thru a wooded area. Easy access from both ends. Good for walking and biking. Easy access to the M6 trail.
Our favorite trail
Serene and lovely for a nice walk or bike ride!
