I've been coming here since I was a kid. I took my kids and now my grandkids. Great hiking trails. Love to walk my dog and play in creek. My husband often drops a line in the pond. He caught and released a beautiful large mouth bass a couple of weeks ago. Dog-friendliness: They have great trails for walks. They also have a bark park. And it looks like a canine confidence course next to bark park.
Native grasses and wedges abound. We're looking forward to making this park and its trails into our regular park routine.
Great Park!! Clean, we'll kept, trails are beautiful. Excellent
Super chill spot ...secluded area...small playground ...kinda old school but my daughter likes it.
You do have to have a pass to go. You can purchase the passes at the park center on S. Post Rd. We were helped by Maurice, who was kind and competent. We bought a day pass and took our dogs. It didn't look terribly interesting to the humans in the car, but the dogs saw things differently. They were in heaven! They ran, sniffed, played with other dogs, and ran after the tennis balls someone had left. My husky was so tired she slept all afternoon! It was great!
Go there for the bark park. The size of it is great. No running water, but patrons try to keep water in two 5 gal water jugs. No bathroom, but a porta-potty that is always in need of service. Limited shade. Playground: Has one. Restrooms: One handicap accessible porta potty. Dog-friendliness: There is a bark park with two separate fenced areas. Picnic area: One shelter, almost always in use. Not sure if it can be reserved.
Nice little city park to get some hiking and woods therapy in. It's a bit creepy though. And they could really use some graffiti cover-up, considering the slurs that were painted in one gazebo. The trails are nice, but we had some creeper following us on our hike no matter which way we went, he followed, who later stared at us from the woods as we were in the parking lot preparing to leave.
Good time walk around and burning some energy off with the kids. Very clean, medium crowd with an inviting crowd. Dog park was open and clean. 4 maybe 5 dogs playing
Great park off the beaten path. It has a dog park, playground, shelter house, wooded trails and a huge hill for sledding. This is a favorite spot for the kids.
This is the dog park of our dogs' dreams. The getting started process is a bit tedious no way to get this done online, must be in person, but once we got an annual pass... I wish we could bring the 2 fur babies and the tiny human baby everyday.
