Following the grand openings of the new Aiken County Animal Shelter and the SPCA’s high-volume spay/neuter clinic, PAWS seized the opportunity to help these resources serve a No-Kill mission for Aiken County. PAWS seeks to end the unnecessary killing of healthy and treatable pets with litter prevention, pet retention and last-chance rescue services.
PAWS assists any and all animal welfare efforts in and around Aiken County to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable companion animals.
Free Spay/Neuter services to qualifying households; heartworm treatment for death-row dogs; pet food for local food banks; and pet retention support for households in crisis.
