Dr Mendenhall and the staff at Paws Inn were so compassionate during our families loss. Rocco was our family pup, 13 wonderful years we had with him before his arthritis and age caught up to him. They made sure Rocco was comfortable and made sure our family had the support, privacy and assistance we needed during this very hard time. Thank you to everyone who gives their time and hearts to us and our fur babies, you’re so appreciated.
This is our Nikki's female doberman pinscher home away from home. We don't have any worries about leaving her in their care for boarding. The staff is wonderful, front desk & in the kennel.
I booked my dog for boarding over the Thanksgiving holiday. No one told me the check in time and it wasn't listed on their website. When I and another customer arrived at opening; we were told that check in was not until 10....and if we wanted to leave our pets there would be a surcharge. I was stuck since I had nothing else booked and was going out of town. I was told, "Bring whatever makes your dog comfortable". Then all my treats were deemed unacceptable and his bowls also unacceptable. His food was not refrigerated and was spoiled when I picked him up. The "free" bath that was promised was not given because "he didn't want to be picked up". He gets bathed regularly and no issues around that at his groomer. I couldn't get any feedback on his stay because the front desk person didn't work over the holiday and "didn't hear that he was bad, so I assume he was fine". Wow. This was not an experience I ever want to repeat.
Just like every other vet - they'll say and do what they need to get as much money from you as possible. But the prices are reasonable. Making me schedule unnecessary appointments. We have a home in Ohio and Texas and go back and forth a lot. I got the past couple months worth of heartgard in TX and they're making me bring both dogs in for testing because I didn't refill with them every month. I can't prove I've been giving them heartgard because we've had it - I found it at our TX house. It upset me that they denied the heartgard refill and called me and made me feel like I don't take proper care of my dogs when I love my dogs more than life itself.
Was another vet hospital that shall remain nameless before. Finally got tired of overpriced services, bad treatment of cat… example they told me my cat was aggressive and needed gabapentin dose before every visit. Their corporate model drives everything. Called and got annual vaccination and visit scheduled at Paws. Completely different experience. Nicer more authentic staff, clean, super friendly doc. My cat was so comfortable she came out of the carrier in her own and was completely relaxed. This visit was divine intervention. I’m so happy to join the Paws Inn family. Thank you!
Took great care of my cat Perdy while she boarded there! Has house cat Pretzel that befriends all the cats staying here.
This facility goes above and beyond. Last July 2017 I found out my cat needed her leg to be removed. When medvet and another facility were way to over priced I came to Paws Inn in absolute tears. They were very caring and got me an appointment the next day to exam her bad leg free of charge due to my tight income as a college student. They were able to get her leg off within a week for 1/3 of the cost at medvet. My admiration for Paws Inn know no bounds. It's been impossible to find a vet that is just as caring where I've moved for college. Take advantage of this clinic! It absolutely has my heart.
I started going here during the pandemic so I have never been in person. It has been a drive up experience where they come out and take the animal inside. They have been very accommodating and knowledgeable. The vet is willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. The pricing is probably typical... mid range.
