Pea Ridge Intermediate School

The old Elementary school that I attended was not at the current location. In the aerial/satellite photo, the sidewalks that led into the main entrance of the schools original location can be seen. And to the left of the original building was a field/playground. On and across from the N corner of the original building, there was an old gas station/convenience store. As I only went through half of the 1st grade there, in the second half of 1960, I really cannot contribute to how good the school is. I am just noting it as part of my life history. But for what short time I lived in Pea Ridge, and attended the Elementary School, I enjoyed it, and still carry a memory of the time a girl who was a classmate, got one of her feet caught up under the merry-go round while we had it turning as fast as we could,breaking it, and I carried her into the Nurses Office.
