This sketchy plaza with pot shops everywhere has made me nervous for years. When my wife booked me a massage appointment here, I was a little worried what sort of place we were going to. It was a pleasant surprise, and I've been getting monthly massage here ever since. Peter had my whole body snap, crackle, and popping in all the best ways and always sends me walking away feeling better than I did hobbling in.
What an awesome staff! Great massage therapists, with a variety of styles to relieve pain, rejuvenate and relax. I have been using Peace Place for 2 months now. They are very accommodating with schedules, even same day. Pricing is very affordable! Thank you Peter, CiCi and Abel!
Did an hour massage, it was awesome. Did not feel rushed, not crowded, staff was friendly and she focused on the much needed areas.
I was randomly booked with Slyvana yesterday. Let me start off by saying this was my third time coming here. Have been worked on by other masseuses with no problem. Abel my fav so far. This time was different. She was 10 mins late, Ok I’ll still willing to wait to get worked on. Second when we were in the room alone she started to state she was a private contractor and offered other clinical styles that weren’t on Peace Place menu and that were more than priced. I stated I just wanted what was n menu for that price I always pay which is $45. Even after the talk and I was already on the table few strokes in she insisted I try her more expensive techniques. She threw me off and had me in vulnerable situation. She then Christian terms as she massaged me like amen and he’s energy working threw her. All in all at end it was a weird and adequate massage. Not worth the $75 she as for at end not professional. I paid it unfortunately. I left feeling duped and uneasy. Wish I just walked out honestly. I will NOT be booking with her ever again. I may not even come back to this establishment because of allowing such business to take place by these kind of individuals.
The massage was so relaxing and the masseur she definitely knows what she is doing! The bathroom was a little messy. That was the only complaint i had.
I've been going here going on almost 6 years. I was there when it was upstairs in the hardy mall and when they moved downstairs. It's been awhile since I've been here but they've moved upstairs and possibly got new management since I was treated horribly. They are now forcing a $25 deposit even for clients that have been there for years. I explained that I didn't feel comfortable with a deposit and I was told that my appointment would not be guaranteed and I would be treated like a walk-in. I live 45 minutes away and go here since they used to be amazing. I will not be coming back ever again and I encourage no one else does. This is the pivotal point when a business no longer cares about customer service.
Abel and Doris are really good massage therapists and the only 2 we go to. But I don't want to tell you that or you'll request them and they'll always be booked. I know they moved upstairs because it's larger but the noise you hear from the dispensary below is just very distracting. Sounds like people are talking in the next room! No joke. Not Peace Place's fault but possibly a bad relocation decision for them. I'll still go though bc that's how much we like our massages by Abel and Doris. Plus the prices are quite affordable at $55 for an hour and $75 for 90 minutes! That's why we're able to afford Abel see what I did there? once a month!
My wife and I had a couples massage for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! They really worked out our tight spots and were friendly and communicative. I really appreciated the therapist showing me some stretches I can do for my tight hips. As other reviews indicated, they do require a deposit when you schedule, but that is taken off the price after the massage. Not a big deal for me and so worth it!
Scheduled a couples massage on a whim while visiting from out of state. Loved it. Very attentive therapists who went to work. They were quick and thorough, but not rushed. I was amazed how much they got done in 60 minutes. Don’t know if we’ll ever be back in town, but if we are we’ll probably schedule another session.
Best deep tissue massage ever! Very thorough and she really focused on the knots in my shoulders. Both hubby and I enjoyed our couples massage.
