Pasadena Classes are always forming!! This is the chance for adults and kids to break out of their shell by learning improv and acting techniques!!
Peanut Gallery Improv is the home for all things comedy that caters to kids between the ages of 6-17. These classes were not just built for the young actor or actresses, but for kids who want to come out of their shell. These classes focus on communication, self esteem building, team building and interpersonal skills. The creative tools that are given to our students through our classes will help them with public speaking, creative thinking, trusting your peers, and building friendships with their peers that could possibly last a life time.
All of the teachers that are apart of Peanut Gallery Improv have performed on stage for a minimum of 5 years, and have also had several years of experience working with youth through YMCA, Big Brother/Big Sister Programs, and Youth Groups through their community religious organizations etc.
The creator of Peanut Gallery Improv collaborated with improv performers, child development counselors, and parents to create an experience that benefits the kids in the program in a way that isn't just about acting, but also taking with them life skills that will benefit them as they get older.
Participants will learn a new way of thinking, respect for others, transactional relationships, how to make positive choices, proactive listening as opposed to passive or even responsive listening, trusting on another to do the right thing and the benefits from classmates having confidence in each other.
Your child might or might not want to act, and our program is for both.
Our main goal is that once a child finishes his course with us they are a little more comfortable with who they are, and they have built confidence within themselves that they can take with them and apply to other experiences in life.
