They have some really beautiful handmade cookoo clocks, both mechanical and battery powered. It's definitely a blast from the past. I had a cookoo clock growing up. The staff was helpful and informative. They also have other things besides cookoo clocks. If you are not familiar with cookoo clocks or how they work, I would stop in and take a look. It's definitely worth the time.
Wow just about sums it up. There are so many unique clocks and an abundance of jewelry to look at, one could get lost in here for quite some time. There also a whole host of statues and other unique items to look at. The place is also much bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside.
Growing up, I had a Cuckoo clock and have always wanted one in adult life. We had seen this place a couple years back and stopped here on our way back from Cambria on 1/25/2023. Maria helped us and showed us nearly every clock and the differences. Once we decided, she packed it up great, showed us everything that would need to be done once we got home to set it up and it was a great purchase. We're still tweaking the pendulum to keep perfect time, but it works great overall. My 16 year old son now winds it every morning before school, carrying on the tradition!
If you ever wanted a house shaped old school wall clock, this is the place for it!
Came here to buy gifts while we were on vacation, big store and interesting items to see but we were continuously followed around the whole store, I’m not entirely sure why? It was extremely strange. It was empty and we were the only customers in there, they had cameras all around literally no need to make us uncomfortable by following us. I would never return given the fact that I’m not sure if the following from the old white woman was racially, motivated or not. We left promptly and I found the same cat clock on Amazon. I don’t know if I would even suggest stepping foot in this store
Cool clocks and novelty store up in solvang. The have a wide variety of cuckoo and other mechanical clocks, and I had a great time just exploring this store. They also sell some jewelry and other craft and novelty items.
My son and I wandered into this store the other day. We were blown away, there is something for everyone! Very cool, unique items. We loved meeting the owners, such great people. Very happy to support such a lovely local family..
Why wouldn't you promote your business to a vlogger rather than being rude? Seems pretty illogical to me.
When in Solvang, this beautiful shop is an absolute must! We were in town a few days ago to celebrate 20 years of marriage. We browsed this shop for a bit and the most beautiful pair of butterfly earrings caught my eye. I’ve never wanted any other piece of jewelry like I wanted these. The price tag was a bit more than I felt comfortable spending. Needless to say these earrings have been on my mind since then. I’ve been kicking myself for not buying them then. I just called the shop and Diane went above and beyond. She located the earrings and texted me a photo to confirm they were the correct ones. She got my info and payment and they’ll be shipping shortly. I can’t thank Diane enough! These will be my special earrings forever as a reminder of our 20 years together and our trip to Solvang. Thank you again Diane, you made my day!!
Pebble People is an odd assortment of everything from Cuckoo clocks to lucky horseshoes, Christmas trinkets, Disney themed prints, to jewelry and more. It's a fairly large store to walk through. Personally I find the majority of it to be politely not my taste. This place is one of two stores offering Cuckoo clocks..both mechanical traditional and battery operated. Staff is friendly and helpful, but with varied knowledge about what they are selling.
