The folks at Peebles are very kind, caring, and patient. My dad passed away while I was in the process of moving cross country. Everything was chaotic during this time, but Peebles made things very easy under very difficult circumstances. They were very patient and comforting as I got things sorted out. Since this was my first time dealing with the death of a close relative, I didn’t know what to expect, but they explained things and kept me apprised of everything as the process moved forward. They also reached out to check on me after everything was over to see how I was doing. Losing a loved one is very difficult, but Peebles made this part of the process as simple as possible while still honoring my dad. I highly recommend them!
I highly recommend Peebles. They were able to assist me when both my mom and dad passed away. The process was seamless and there was no pressure. They guided me through everything and I never questioned what I needed to do, they just handled it. I’m so grateful!! They have even checked on me after to see how I was doing. Very genuine!!
The staff at Peebles Funeral Home were exceptional from the time they took charge of my brother through the end of his funeral service. Beyond the funeral the staff continues to reach out to me and my family to ensure we are doing ok. We could not have asked for or expected a better experience given the horrible loss we have suffered. With regard to the quality of the services, my brother requested a closed casket, however, Peebles did such a great job, we were able to have the casket open for a short period for his closest friends and pall bearers. When picking out a casket and vault, there was NO PRESSURE or STEERING to any particular one because of price, they showed us to the room of displays and said “let us know if you have any questions “, making our selections our own, not some we were “encouraged” to make. The registration book, thank you notes and memorial package are of high quality, beautiful and EXACTLY what we ordered. We simply could not have made a better decision when choosing a funeral home. Based on compassion and care Peebles is not your typical, they go above and beyond. So many of the Funeral homes nowadays are owned by conglomerates and they are run by people who see their position as “just a job”, there is little compassion or care. Peebles Funeral Home is EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE! Being family owned and operated, their business is their life, you can feel that from the compassion and care they show throughout the horrible process of losing a loved one. I would highly recommend Peebles Funeral Home to ANYONE in need, they will walk you through the process and hold your hand the whole way, they are wonderful! I had my furbaby cremated here in 2019. It was a very beautiful and calming experience. Very professional and caring family. I am grateful for their business and for making a very difficult situation into a peaceful journey.
My husband and I chose to use the services of Peebles after our youngest daughter's passing. It was the best decision! Losing a loved one is never easy, especially when no prearrangements are made. When we unexpectedly lost our mother we weren’t sure where to start. We knew she wanted to use Peebles Funeral home, but we didn’t know where to start for planning a funeral. The day after she passed we met with Brad at Peebles and we are so thankful for him. The staff met us at the door, and we were taken to a room to plan our moms service. We weren’t ready for this but thankfully Brad was there to help. He had so much patience with us and I’m so thankful for his kindness during that time. There was nothing he didn’t help us through and we are forever grateful for our experience with Peebles. He helped us through every step of the process and when we left we had relief knowing there were no strings left untied. The day of her service the staff at Peebles were absolutely amazing and we know our mother was in great hands and that meant so much to us. A week later and even two weeks later they sent out a text just to check on us. There is no real way to thank Peebles and their staff for everything they have done for us during our time of loss. We’re just so thankful for such an amazing establishment and for them helping us through our hardest time.
A death in the family caused me to research area funeral homes for the first time ever. I quickly noted that Peebles in Fayette County had the best website of any I looked at. It was easy to navigate and offered a way to "plan" the funeral we wanted before even speaking with a person. This taught me what questions to ask and gave me a ballpark estimate of cost. Peebles' selection of caskets is excellent, of good quality, with price clearly visible. Once I spoke with a person on the phone, I knew this was the choice for us. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and quick to respond patiently to my many questions about the entire process. Peebles offers every service, even ones you don't think about at the moment, such as headstones and death certificates. I also greatly appreciated the fact that they made various suggestions of ways to lower our expenses. Our family couldn't be more pleased with Peebles' handling of the funeral and all the details surrounding it. Thank you, Peebles!
