Unfortunately, the store is on a 14 day closing that's why I gave it rating I did. I found some great buy's for everyone in the family. The service on the other hand was poor, but understandable. The staff are over ran with everything at 90% off and some consumers are not on their beat behaviors while buying. Also, the staff are stressed to lose jobs in the middle of a pandemic, and as I overheard lost 401ks and stocks. Keep these families in mind and understand they are all emotionally stressed at these unprecedented times. Overall, what was left in store were at good prices, well mostly some household items are not part of major sale
My son is preparing for homecoming so we went there to get him a shirt and tie. Prior to go though, my mom and I remembered we still had gift cards from YEARS ago so we called and check and were happy to find out there are no expiation dates and/or yearly fees. I ended up being able to get my son a dress shirt and tie they were buy one, get one 50% off, my daughter a dress and vest combo 40% off and I got myself a bra from $24 down to $18, a sweater and a shirt 50% off each and still have money leftover. My mom got 2 bras from $24 down to $17, a wallet and a 2 piece outfit 40% off for my daughter and still had money leftover too. The store was nice and clean, as always, employees were very nice and I love that there's fitting rooms in almost every section and you don't have to hunt down an employee to unlock them. Sales are great too!
Went twice. First time store had just closed for the evening. 2nd trip I searched for a pair of shoes with adequate assistance from staff. Had to leave empty handed, I found nothing in my size or proper style for a funeral. Usually I can always get what is needed from the store ,but they are closing. I was in a time crunch, and did notice awesome sales! Going to miss Peeples....
Love this store! Friendly staff, great selection, and clean dressing rooms also when they have a sale it's really good! Sign up for their email offers to know when their promotional offers are going otherwise it is hit or miss with the deals.
Great store in Dover Delaware. I'm got some great deals. The sales people were super helpful and so nice. I spent so much time shopping for clothes I really didn't get to see the whole store
Haven't been to Peebles in 15 years since I've moved to New Castle county. I was really scared when I made it to Peebles, and there's a store closing sign. Thankfully Peebles is not closing but has just begun transitioning to their other sister store Gordman's. I love this store because all the name brands are there which saves you the same trip to the mall and it's in my neighborhood. The exciting part is everything is 50-75% off Nike, RL Polo, Under Armour 20%. The gift section is offering amazing prices ie., Headphone $12 and even the makeup is 50% off.
Peebles offered 50% off one item of lesser value, and that was great but it was unfortunate that I was unable to use the stackable coupon with my 50% off which took an additional $10 off the entire purchase. The store manager said it was due to the purchase total ending in 8cents, which was not stated on the stackable coupon. Bummer!
Peebles is a department store in the best sense of the word. Clothing for men, women and kids of all ages. The hottest styles, sportswear and well known designers at every day prices! All this plus home goods, including linens; thirsty towels and beautiful bed sheet styles along with make-up kiosks staffed with in the know beauty techs to help with tips and selections. Peebles is the place to shop!
Got a lot for really good deal. Down fall could not get clothes because fittingroom close because vovid-19. They are closing so that is why we got so much for a really good deal.
Martha in the Rehoboth,De store is so sweet. She is very friendly. She rang us up and was very helpful with my purchase along with 2 other ladies.
