Absolutely wonderful example of early 19th century home and lifestyle of the "Rich & Famous". My only grip is they don't allow you to view the Ice House. The tour guide had cute stories and personality. The house is absolutely beautiful and so glad Sam listened to his wife and didn't turn this home into a parking lot. I hope they are always able to save this older treasures and future legacy's are able to look back with fond memories.
Had a lovely visit here. Was pleasantly surprised at the amount of local history I learned , while of course learning about the Peel family in the process. The tour guides were all very polite and knowledgeable and helped the tour be the best it could be. Plus, free admission is a perk. Whole tour took around 45 minutes.
Peel Museum is a nice stop. We took the tour, which is free. It was a very interesting tour. I'm glad it is now a museum and maintained well.

Beautiful place with friendly staff and a rich history. I highly recommend the free guided tour, which was given to us by the lovely Joan. The house is spectacular, and the gift shop features a wide assortment of locally produced goods.
Amazing piece of history that has been restored to its glory. Our tour guide was great. She mentioned she had only been there for 8 weeks but you would not know that from her knowledge of the house and family. Gift shop was great and the lady that works it was so gracious and funny... #doctordust!!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Former home of Rep. Samuel West Peel now a museum and garden. Well worth the visit if you're in Bentonville. The Peel home & Andy Lynch Log Cabin tours are free and the gardens are beautiful! Penny in the cabin is a very sweet welcoming lady. She has tons of information ready to share.
We had a great time visiting this beautiful and fascinating old home! The docent was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The grounds are so pretty with David Austin roses and huge trees. The inside is full of period furniture and daily living vignettes. It’s a must see!
Arrived on time for a scheduled tour, but we were shuttled to join an underway tour. After a couple rooms we were told we could go visit the rooms we'd missed. Not the best situation. However, the house and information were quite good, with interesting history.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
