I've visited several time but my most recent visit was worth bragging about and reviewing. I don't know who was in that kitchen but they know what they are doing! Everything on my plate was delicious! I had fried pork chops that were perfectly fried and not dry, yams that were sweet and the perfect texture, and cabbage that melted in my mouth with perfect seasoning. Y'all they are certainly heavenly.

This is the place to go for a nourishing meal in a quiet, unpretentious setting convenient to Elmwood Cemetery. Wally says we should make this a regular lunch place on all future trips to Memphis. I found the seasoning a little heavy on some dishes. Cornbread was really good. Although credit cards are accepted, cash payments may be preferred due to technical difficulties. Me and my co-worker just left from there not even 30 minutes ago. I order a cheese burger with fries and my coworker ordered a salisberry steak mass potatoes and cabbage. When I say everything was NASTY and UNCOOKED. My burger was pink and still was bleeding and my coworker salisberry steak was nothing but a hamburger patty with heavy gravy her mass potatoes looked like soup and her cabbage tasted old and my fries was so soft like they put them in the microwave. We was so mad that we threw it in the trash I hate I didn’t take a picture because this was very unhealthy and when I called back I didn’t even get an apology or nothing he held the phone and hung up. Nasty food nasty attitude and the building smell like garbage like somebody just took a dump.

Absolutely a hidden treasure. Food was absolutely delicious. Building needs a little TLC, we came to eat not to sleep. Staff was like family. On a three days trip, we ate here every day. Oh, the vegetables were cooked to perfection.Food: 5/5

My first time visiting a co- working suggested I try it. I went on a Sunday had cat fish salty the dressing taste under cooked; the greens taste like they came out the can.I only enjoyed the cake it was delicious. I can honestly say I didn’t enjoy the food.

The food is always amazing, but I can't get over the homemade POUND CAKE....OMG!!! It was mouth-wateringly good!!!Food: 5/5
