5/5!! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, food was made fast and tasted delicious. Super clean environment. There was some training going on behind the line and the way it was conducted was fantastic. I love to hear a leader be part of the team and lead with greatness. If I am ever in town again, I will definitely be stopping by!Dietary restrictions accommodatedGluten free
Pei Wei has definitely fallen from grace in the past few years. This used to be a more upscale experience with higher quality ingredients and service than the average Asian restaurant Panda but...these days...not so much. My wife and I stood at the ordering station for about 5 minutes before the lady walked over to take our order and she greets us not with hello or welcome but with "for here or to go?" No smile, no welcoming demeanor at all, she just looked like she wanted to leave and wished we would do the same. My wife loves the yum yum shrimp and she was satisfied with it so that was a high point. My crab won tons weren't fried properly and we're soggy and gross. Probably won't be back.
Yummy and delicious hot fresh food. Everything was made the way I ordered it I sometimes can be picky but Pei Wei at 71st and Garnett always makes my food exactly how I ordered Teriyaki shrimp and chicken with a kick of spice added in I also ordered the chicken lettuce wraps always our favorite dishes the staff were very polite and professional they assisted me and every part of my order and help me out on the app I received a five off of 15 which was an added bonus the prices are reasonable in the portions are awesome I will be back and will definitely recommend Pei Wei
This place tastes amazing. They have a lot of choices to choose from and they have relatively low prices! I recommend the Firecracker Chicken, The Kung Pao Chicken, and Spicy General Tso’s Chicken. The Pumpkin Spice Donuts are real good too. Definitely should go try!Food: 5/5
I love Pei Wei but was very disappointed last night. They must have had a staffing problem. I was with a friend and she got her order but I waited a while and watched them do the to go orders. I finally asked about my order and was told they were working on it . I finally got it but my egg roll was not there so I asked and was told they were very busy. I saw them fill more to go orders before I finally got my 1 egg roll. They were out of mandarin tea and I asked about it but was told to wait and they would fix it. I saw someone put the tea on to brew and I waited but, when I tried to get tea, it did not come out of the dispenser. I think dine in customers should have priority over to go orders. Not a good experience.
We ordered a dynamite chicken and a chicken pad thai. The dynamite chicken was out in 5 minutes and was just ok but the chicken pad thai didn't come out till 30 minutes later. The noodles were overcooked and looked like they were scraped off the bottom of the pan and it looked more like a soup.Food: 1/5
Yesterday, I ordered the honey-seared chicken with lo mein instead of rice $2.19 up charge. Apparently, Pei Wei cutting costs and decided to replace the delicious lo mein noodles with regular pasta noodles. It’s absolutely disgusting, just imagine boiling some pasta noodles and eating them plain, it’s not even the same color, texture or flavor of the original lo mein noodles. Well, that did it for me, I will not be back. I’ll only eat at PF Chang's for this particular type of food! ~ Extremely disappointed customer
UPDATED REVIEW: I'm not sure what happened to the Broken Arrow Pei Wei, but we can't even go there anymore. Even though it's closest to our Coweta ranch, we literally have to drive in to Tulsa to get adequate service. Last night, after months of driving 30 extra miles to avoid disappointment, we decided to give Broken Arrow another try. It was the final straw in a wad of straws that slashed my initial review of 5 stars, to 2 stars which is generous, thanks to the 61st and Yale restaurant. They almost always gets everything right. On the rare occasions they don't, their excellent customer service makes up for it. First of all, Pei Wei's app doesn't work AT ALL. Second, the Broken Arrow restaurant rarely answered the phone, so it was impossible to order unless we were willing to wait in a to-go line, then wait for our food to be prepared. They've since added a phone service, but their problems go so far beyond basic phone etiquette. Know what's worse than wasting 15 minutes on a failed app, 20 minutes on the phone and 30 minutes ordering and waiting for food in the express zone on a Friday night? Wasting more than an hour of your life, driving back through two towns to get home, and - after looking forward to Pei Wei all week - finding that you didn't get what you ordered. No matter how much specifying, repeating, verifying and confirming we try to do, the Broken Arrow restaurant invariably either leaves something off the order, or sends us home with some mystery dish in place of our favorite dishes. The Dan Dan noodles I absolutely LOVE are never consistently prepared an issue across restaurants. We specifically ask for the ground chicken that comes with the meal and instead get whatever other chicken they happen to have. Last night I got some smorgasbord of meats - most of which was burned to a crisp. I could swear I tasted charred liver. To compensate for the fact that the sauce was always too sparse, we started ordering extra sauce on the side. To avoid arriving home with the Close Enough Special, we started opening the bag and verifying its contents before leaving the restaurant. Last night the Close Enough Special really did look close enough to make the trek home. Unfortunately, the taste was nowhere near close enough. Check out the dry noodles, two different styles of chicken and, presumably, beef. Dan Dan noodles comes with ground chicken. There was almost no ground chicken in our two Dan Dan orders, but there was plenty of beef! To their credit, the did give us extra sauce on the side - for the spring rolls we ordered but did not get. We understand that things happen and no one is perfect; but it's gotten to the point where the Broken Arrow Pei Wei gets more orders wrong than it gets orders right. Customers shouldn't have to jump through so many hoops to avoid being disappointed. ORIGINAL POST: Love love love love love the Dan-Dan noodles at Pei Wei! I get them literally every week, and they never get old. My husband loves the Spicy Korean chicken or beef, and my dad enjoys the Chow Mein chicken noodles. Their teriyaki chicken and steak are not authentic Japanese, but they're still tasty. Dining in at Pei Wei is not my favorite, so we take out at least once a week. They have a rewards program where you can get a free meal after four or five can't remember which. Pei Wei's portions are pretty generous, and we find that the food is always fresh. Wait staff is well trained and respectful. Great customer service!
i have always loved Pei Wei and ive eaten pei wei from amarillo to austin and all between. this is the worst location ive ever been to. We went inside i brought a friend who had never eaten at pei wei i had been touting how good the food was for weeks. we pull up and walk in look at the menu for five min or so at the cash register the girl working the register never even acknowledged that we were even there, then she went to the bathroom for 10 min at least and when she came outta the bathroom she walked right into the back of kitchen. the cook and another worker were so busy with their conversation they never said anything to us either. finally i walked up to them and interrupted them and asked if i could order. they yelled at the girl in the back and she finally came and got our order. she was not friendly at all. mind you this is 11:30 right at lunch time. The cook i guess was too busy talking to prepare the food right cause it was horrible.. i eat the mongolian steak at every pei wei that i go to and this was by far the worst. it was tough to salty tasting and overall a 2 out of 10. major disappointment and sucked for my friends first impression of the franchise
The food was pretty good. The orange chicken was full of flavor with just enough spice. My wife’s ramen bowl was a little sparse with the meat but the noodles were tasty. We always live the chicken wraps but this time the lettuce came out rust colored and brown in spots, we didn’t eat the top 4 layers. The cashier was pleasant but the food runner appeared irritated and unhappy to be there. He barely spoke and never once asked if we needed anything.
