My father, John Cermanski had suddenly passed away on Thursday, March 21st , 2019.  My parents have been Pelham Manor residents for 40 years and my father was very active in the Pelham Community.  He was in the Pelham Manor Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years and was a member of the Pelham Civics as well as the in the Men’s Club of Pelham.  We have attended many funerals at Pelham Funeral Home and each time we have gone, we see the same things:  it’s extremely well maintained, clean, beautiful and all of the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Without hesitation, we called the Pelham Funeral Home right away to help plan my dad's final farewell.  The funeral director, Clive Anderson is so kind hearted, genuine, and has an amazing heart.  From the moment I called him to the ending of our planning  time with him, he was extremely attentive, took care of everything right away and made the extremely difficult  planning a bit easier because he was extremely helpful, passionate and organized.  Even though we had limited time to plan a funeral, Clive was extremely supportive and very professional from the beginning to the end.  He is the best of the best and we are blessed to have found an amazing funeral director to work with.  He worked with the Pelham Manor Volunteer Fire Department who planned many parts of my dad’s services and Clive exceeded our expectations.  He made dad’s final send off one to remember that will forever stay in our hearts.  Everything that we had asked for and wanted he worked exceptionally hard to make happen.  Thank you Clive Anderson and the Pelham Funeral Home for helping my family get through this extremely difficult time.  We are grateful for your time, for your services and for running such a friendly, professional and beautiful funeral home.

Recently had to use the service of Pelham funeral home for the loss of our son. We received professional service . Clive and the staff members provided outstanding service while  being sympathetic for our loss. We had a choice of many funeral homes in our area, and was so happy we chose Pelham Funeral Home. We highly recommend them.

OMG! Where do I start? My family and I lost my brother right before his birthday and it was very difficult to even begin to plan laying him to rest. We wanted to put him away the way that he deserved. We tried 2 other places before coming to pelham funeral home. We went on a Sunday mind you they are closed on sunday we rung the bell a few times and were about leave and Clive the owner shows up. He could have said sorry we closed but instead he invited us in and when we walked in we knew this was the place we wanted. I have never had to plan a funeral and I was so overwhelmed that it was my very dear brother but Clive made it so easy. He assured us we were in great hands and he kept his word. He was nothing short of amazing. The entire service was great, it was set up beautifully and I loved that we had the whole place to ourselves. I would recommend them to everyone. Clive made us feel like family and not a dollar bill. Thank you so much you are much appreciated!!!

I watched Clive’s video after losing my aunt to COVID. His quotes on never saying no and how he rose to the challenge by relying on faith changed my life. I am now working as a funeral home assistant because I saw Clive and my brain just went “funeral directors are your people, you gotta find a way to get with your people and serve your community.” I am going to mortuary school and it is because of the profound impact Clive Anderson had on my life and my grief journey in the aftermath of COVID. Thank you.

I suddenly lost my mother and was devastated by her passing. Pelham Funeral Home guided me through the process and helped me plan a viewing and service that not only celebrated her amazing life, but showed the upmost compassion to all attendees.  Special recognition to Tom and Clive for their time and empathy. My mom passed around my birthday and Tom called to acknowledge and show his support on that difficult day. On another day, the owner, Clive, stayed up late with me to complete the finishing touches on her obituary so that my mother’s essence shined through.  Each person at the funeral home was courteous, understanding, and professional. Their facilities are clean, beautiful and welcoming. They were meticulous with the finest details and became a support I didn’t know I needed. From the amazing collages to the memory books and memory wall and programs, their services are unmatched.  Thank you Pelham Funeral Home for easing some of our burden and providing positive memories as we laid mom to rest.

In this most horrific time, Pelham Funeral Home did an amazing job in the entire process. Clive Anderson provided personal hands on service, comfort and excellence, attending to every detail- even live streaming to Ireland which provided comfort to family during this devastating time. The funeral home itself is a beautiful place, my deceased cousin was treated with the utmost respect and dignity and was prepared for viewing perfectly. When you lose someone you love, you are at your lowest and extremely vulnerable. Then you have Clive and Hannah who are incredible at taking your sadness and working with you every step of the way. My husband was a musician and I wanted to have his band members play a few songs...our dog Harry was also a big part of my husband's life and I asked Clive if he could attend the wake. All of my not so regular requests were answered with patience, compassion and understanding. Their attention to detail and their caring, kind approach is what helped us through the evening. Something that was so devastating, turned into something so beautiful and spiritual. The service they provided us made a profound difference at the end of one's life. Cannot say enough about our experience at Pelham Funeral Home. Losing mom was devastating and Clive gracefully helped us make decisions under such emotional circumstances. He guided us with professionalism as well as sensitivity. The whole staff was amazing. It is such a beautiful location. The details were perfect, from the music, to programs and slide show. It really felt like a celebration of moms life. We are so happy we chose Pelham Funeral home and would highly recommend.

There are no words to describe what a fine tribute they provided for my mother's funeral.  Clive Anderson is a thoughtful, knowledgeable man who provided us with tremendous support, understanding and resources.  He was on call with us almost 24/7.  I couldn't even have begun to think of all the beautiful items he provided for a setting for my mother's wake.  I would highly recommend him and the Pelham Funeral Home without reservation

Clive is such an incredible soul. He exceeded our exceptions beyond what we could have possibly imagined with the most thoughtful surprises. No detail was left untouched. Pelham funeral home could not be more accommodating and loving. Clive made us feel like a part of his family and showered us with compassion at the most challenging time. He not only opened his heart to us he allowed us to play with his gorgeous dog Paddington which brought us extreme comfort. I can't say enough, he deserves 10+ stars.
