The recreation hall is a handy and relatively inexpensive place to gather and to get more of our friends around than we want to put at our house. The building is old, not all of the ceiling lights worked, and we had to clean before we could have the party and then cleaned afterward. There were dead bugs and the paint was peeling. We hope that it gets so much needed maintenance and improvement in the future however, we were able to enjoy ourselves despite the lack of maintenance.
Nice place to have birthday parties. Next to the park. Fence so kids can stay inside. Grilling allowed. Running water and hookup outside for parties. Plenty of room to put bouncy houses outside and large space with air conditioning and kitchen inside.
I recommend it. 3 big kitchen sinks, equipment, and plenty of counters for work space. But all that is just a great building for a family gathering. Lynn Avery, TraycieBug and their kids put it together with LOVE. Mike Avery entertained everyone while his beautiful sisters worked like crazy and still managed to look good! The babies were little blessings. I can't say enough about my good memories in your building. Merry Christmas!
Nice place to hold our VFW Post 4758 meetings on the 1st Tue each month at 6:30 PM. There is a nice kitchen with ice maker. Two bath rooms. Tables and chairs there too.
Every body needs a little help every now and then these are great people they try to serve a hot meal and grocery
Because on a hot & humid day these idiots had the swim beach closed
I was there for a gardening lunch & learn meeting. Good place for the meeting.
They give out free food at this location once per month. it helps
