#Textbook #prices$$$$$$$ #employee are stud The bookstore wasn’t prepared and restocked textbook before school semester starts meaning student have to go to the class in person and ask the professor if the student need a textbook for class. BUT! If the professor say or told the student “it’s optional”.....ugh don’t listen to the professor, you NEED the textbook to learn how to do your assignment or homework. No textbook mean you fail the class and repeat the course and pay bill statement. The price for clothes are too much as an $$+$$=$$$$. You can only discount if you are future student aka freshman. The staff n employee are actually students as an Student work at the front deskcashier and deal with or look up textbook or online textbook while the student at the back of the bookstore dealing with finding textbook for the student. REALLY!?!?!?! Parents, asked your sons or daughters this question->”Does working at the bookstore relate to your career or major?” If they say yes meaning you want some explanation and they will say it will help them to gain experience which you are fine with as long it is related to their major, HOWEVER!! If it not related to their major meaning they have wasted their time and if they say they want money then tell them this->”if you want money, you can ask us cause we’re your parents. Just focus on your class n don’t worry about working at the bookstore, the staffadults not young adult will have to deal with that situation for themselves”. If you guys don’t believe me then go see it for your self in person and find n asked your son or daughter “does working at the bookstore related to your major? If they say yes, they need a good answer beside saying yes it is benefiting for me blah blah blah or etc”. If they say no then you will get the real answer you looking for.
The book store is under new management and they are way OVER PRICED... schools shouldn't take advantage of students... 175$ for a low end diploma frame is just one example...

Holds basically everything you need to go inside your bookbag. Yeah they carry them too along with laptops, iPad, Braves accessories and clothes.
The bookstore is quite nice and you can find a variety of items from apparel, electronics, to small gifts for your family to support UNCP.
I purchased a book online from the bookstore which was never delivered by FedEx. I contacted both FedEx and the UNCP Bookstore. FedEx will not issue me a refund unless I receive confirmation from the Bookstore that they will not be pursuing a claim. I have called the bookstore and written several emails with no response. I am very frustrated that I cannot get this resolved.
It had a lot of variety to choose from and the workers are very friendly. I'm definitely going back.
I work there myself and I feel the people I work with are very nice and good at there jobs.I get up and want to go to work
