Shop owner was very nice and told us a lot of history of the pieces and area. Prices were spendy but that's to be expected when buying handmade Native American souvenirs. Shop was kind of messy in a couple areas, but not really a big deal
One of my favorite shops in Albuquerque! Ruth not only knows her artwork but the artists who created it. She has been involved in Native American art for more than 30 years and her depth of knowledge is incredible. The shop has a welcoming atmosphere and all of her merchandise is amazing, from earrings to beautiful handwoven rugs. The prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent.
Ruth is a long-term shop owner there in Old Town. She runs her family's shop and we have been long time clients of hers. I always recall her companion, Buckeye, greeting us at the door. We miss him but are please to still visit with Ruth.
Stopped by here after lunch and ended up walking out with a couple sand paintings. The shop owner was very kind and even explained the importance of each piece and a little about the artists without any prompting. Thanks!
Quaint little shop; multiple very fine pieces, including in the nooks and corners; a bit dusty in a few spots. Shop owner knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent spot for serious collectors.
Very good shop. The owner is kind and knowledgeable.
Beautiful collection of Zuni Carvings.
Shop owner has bad attitude and rude personality no people skills
