Peninsula Behavioral Health, registered in the State of Washington in 1971, is a nonprofit organization and recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization.
The agency is licensed by the Division of Mental Health as a community mental health center, is certified as an Outpatient Chemical Dependency Treatment Program (with specialty to serve persons with dually diagnosed psychiatric illness and chemical addiction), and is licensed by the Department of Health for its supervised residential program.
The agency is governed by an eleven-member Board of Directors and staffed by multi-disciplinary professionals including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners (ARNPs), psychiatric social workers, licensed mental health professionals, psychiatric nurses, clinical case managers, and chemical dependency professionals.
