I absolutely love their pastries. Nobody compares. The pinwheels are my favorite.
Yum yum. Walked in here on a whim yesterday and picked up a. Apple strudel. $10 bucks for a whole pastry the size of a loaf of bread. It was very delicious! Can't wait to try other pastries.
The croisants we had were delicious. The almond croisant was large and spread throughout. I was pleased with the cost.
LOVE THEM! They make superior cakes and pastries. I love an excellent eclair and they are the only one I know who makes the best eclair!. I am fickle about pastries. Especially anything chocolate. I usually have to go to San Francisco for good pastries. So this is my go-to when I am in Monterey County.
O my, you would love this pastry, this make all there pastry them self. There French. You would love there pastry .
Love this bakery. They did our wedding cakes 8 years ago! and continue to have wonderful cakes and pastries. They are cash/check only still thought COVID might push them to touchless, but if you know and are prepared, not a big deal. They do close every year for a good chunk of time for break post a sign on the door when it happens. They have fantastic breakfast pastries if you are ever hosting a breakfast.
This locally owned pastry shop has been around since I was a kid. My mom shopped next door in what was then Montgomery Wards. Didn't get to enjoy the good stuff inside until I became older. It was worth the wait. Everything looks and tastes home made from scratch. I recommend this place. Everything is good with your favorite cup of coffee.
Worked for years in Salinas and love this place! Everything is delicious only problem is sometimes I could not get there early enough before they would sell out. I moved to Mojave area 3 years ago and miss this shop. Nothing comes anywhere close to taste or quality here. Do you ever do mail orders? I would love to have some of your banana bread best I ever had!
This is the best small town pastry shop we have experienced outside of France! Get there early to have a fresh chocolate croissant-the closest we've had to the ones in France. Everything here is amazing- don't be fooled by the look of things, try it all, even the brightly frosted sugar cookies which are usually unappealing to me have the most delicious crumble and flavor! Some of my favorites include the chocolate chip cookie, chocolate/vanilla raspberry muffin, and pecan pumpkin bread! The owners are French and so sweet. The only bummer is that in true French fashion they take nice long vacations about twice a year good for them but terrible for my pastry addiction.
Excellent pastry, cakes, cookies. Their cakes are great for events. They are rich & dense with absolutely delicious filling. Very rich but not overly sweet. Owners are French & go to France each year. Prices are reasonable considering the excellence of the product.
