Peninsula Pharmacy San Pedro

It may still little too early for me to review this service, since I just got the app, but one thing I’d like to add is that I hope we can get notifications from the pharmacy when whatever the medication which was back ordered thus waited for awhile. A Patient has lots on her plate. Especially a patient with severe pain. Even just One less thing to worry could help tremendously. Could it be doable? It should be, because CVS has. Just simply send out a text message telling that the medicine is ready for pick up…? Pharmacy has all the identification information on each patient, including phone number. Wouldn’t it make sense, instead of the patient has to call everyday? Well, that’s all I have to say for now. Thanks in advance for your attention and hopefully my feedback could be somewhat useful for all parties involved.

Peninsula Pharmacy is the best! I appreciate the caring, personal service that they provide. . Every question I ask is answered in easy to understand form. Every medication is correctly dispensed safely and properly counted. On top of all of this, if you are unable to pick up your order, they provide a delivery service to your home. Thank you, Peninsula Pharmacy, for your incredible service.

Unlike big chain pharmacies the Peninsula staff makes you feel like you are the only patient. The delivery driver is also fantastic and super friendly.

I've been going here for over 40 years and it's by far the best pharmacy I've ever used. Elie is the best and so are the staff, especially Ramona! They have medications that no one else might have. Ever so polite. Their service is fast, not like a CVS or Walgreens where you might wait over an hour to have your prescription filled. They are very professional and and know what they are doing. Thank You, Elie and Staff for the exceptional service!!!

Best pharmacy ever , nicest people and service is always high quality

I went there to drop off my daughters prescription since her dr is next door and i was told her insurance was canceled and that her medical was canceled as well so i paid with my debit card and was charged for her prescription when I returned back home i called her insurance its not canceled!! And her insurance contacted them and told them to give me a refund so i called them and let them know i was going to send my mother to get the refund for the medication they said yes thats fine my mother and brother arrive and shes told she cannot get a refund because she didnt have the right debit card which was a big lie! So my moms going back and fourth with them and i guess there boss comes out and gives my mom the refund it’s ridiculous what we had to go through will not be going back

I really wish I could have gave them a zero worse pharmacy ever every time I have a prescription sent here there is some type of problem that they do not notify me about I have to call or actually waste my time trying to pick it up for them to tell me that they don't have it their customer service is horrible I called to see if my prescription is ready they tell me when is ready the other one will be ready later on that day so I try to see if I can transfer my prescription the transfer never happens these people never call me and tell me that my prescription is ready as if I don't need the prescription my doctor prescribed that is very unprofessional and I will no longer be going to them

I’m not really sure what happened to this pharmacy? I have been coming here my whole life and they used to have THE BEST people who worked there but that seems to have changed. On my most recent visit I went to pick up my medicine and they told me it hadn’t been filled so I had to wait. I was on a time crunch so they told me to come back before they closed which was in about 4 hours. I went back and they told me that they didn’t have it and had to order it then why did you tell me to come back and make two trips if you knew you didn’t have it?. The next day when I picked up the medicine it had a different doctors name on the medicine NOT the prescribing doctor... plus it was not the same medicine name the doctors office told me they were calling in. When I called back they put me on the line with a completely unapologetic man who said he was a manager. He told me that the medicine the doctor called in was now called something else and what they gave me was the generic version of this newly named medicine. FYI, when you pick up medicine that is not the name of the medicine you were told you were getting and it has a completely different doctors name on it than the prescribing doctor, it warrants some concern. The man told me he “fixed” the label but offered no apology for any confusion. Call me crazy but when it comes to medicine, a professional would at the very least explained the situation of a why they are giving a differently named medicine out to patients. It takes all of 30 seconds. But if the manager I spoke with is any indication of how it’s run in there then any accountability is out the window.

Just simply awesome!! This pharmacy is so good. They are fast, courteous and friendly. There is always at least five pharmacists working on r/x’s in the back as well as three or four working the service desk. I really like this pharmacy. I hope they don’t get swallowed like all the other independents. Well done Elli
