Pennies For Pockets is a non-profit organization founded to raise funds for homeless and/or injured animals in need of our care.
Pennies For Pockets was founded by the family at Timberlane Pet Hospital & Resort because of a special refugee at Timberlane named "Polly Pockets". She came to us as a very sick kitten in need of a home as well as medical care. Because of the high quality care she received while with us, Polly lived an amazing life but still too short for all of us at 7 &1/2 years of age. She often required "round the clock" care by our wonderful family and always showed her appreciation by her "love nips"!! While Polly Pockets is who the fund has been named after, she is only one of hundreds of animals that have been cared for by the Timberlane Family since opening who would have otherwise been euthanized or not treated for their diseases appropriately. The Pennies For Pockets Veterinary Care Fund is a way for us to be able to give even more back to the community of animals that are so much in need.
