Pennsylvania Oral Surgeon

Yesterday, this dental/medical phobia patient was treated by Dr Huffman and his assistance Steph and Alyssa for a molar extraction. Dr. Huffman spoke to me regarding what he was doing and what I could expect through the entire procedure. One day later, I have little to no swelling or pain and am extremely grateful and praise all 3 for their wonderful chairside manner and understanding of my anxiety. Overall, from scheduling to check out, I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you again to all.

I had two tooth to be extracted at the same visit. I was so scared. It was done in a jiffy at ease. Thank you so much doc. The staffs were so friendly. I would certainly recommend here.

I’ll start off by saying I absolutely hate the dentist. I had to have 5 teeth pulled, 4 wisdom and 1 cavity. My dentist referred me to here and these guys were phenomenal. I ended up getting two dry sockets out of the five teeth I had pulled and the pain was beyond crippling. Start to finish was a month from operation to my last visit with them , It was by far the worst experience I’ve had in my life and Amanda was nothing short of amazing as far as helping me through the process. For what it was, they made the best of it.

Not very personal, as the only time I “met” the doctor was immediately after my wisdom teeth surgery still coming off of anesthesia. The written post-care guidance was very ambiguous and it was tough to recall all of the verbal aftercare rules. The front desk is also very attacking about wearing masks, but don’t even wear theirs correctly or at all. However, the surgery and recovery went smoothly. Thankfully, I’m friends with one of their Dental Surgery tech/assistant so she was super helpful in keeping me sane!

Awful place! My son had a tongue tie procedure done at 2 weeks old. I had seen a review on Google saying they had this procedure done and were billed $800 because of the billing department not submitting to insurance. After reading this review I went over to the practice at Collegeville, had them on a call with my insurance and figuring out billing codes and etc. They told me I'd pay $140 and that would be it. They said I was set and would never see a bill from them. Well well....we got a random bill for $670!!! They said my son was not added in the insurance. Ok...no worries, I called the insurance and he was added and the insurance made sure the coverage backtracked since he was a newborn. Their billing department told us once again they would resubmit the claim under my sons name and we were good. This week I received a letter stating they are sending my husband to collection. The letter said they tried to contact us multiple times. This is a LIE. WE CONTACTED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES. The letter also said we had 10 days to reply but we received a letter on day 9. The billing person screamed at my husband and gave him attitude the whole time when we asked her to resubmit the claim. I called my insurance and they told us they NEVER resubmitted the claim when they told us they did. My insurance called them again and the lady who answered told her SHE REFUSES TO RESUBMIT OUR CLAIM!!!!! My insurance was able to find the older claim and resubmit it. It is in the air if we will end up having to pay $670 or not. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. THEY REFUSE TO SUBMIT MY CLAIM TO INSURANCE! We are also submitting claim with Better Business Bureau. It's not worth the stress. Go somewhere else. The billing department is extremely unprofessional. They will literally scream at you on the phone. My insurance also said this pratcice is nasty to deal with and don't want to help. We made an official complaint with our insurance too and they are going to review their relationship. Stay away, it's not worth the stress.

Dr. Kanter and everyone at Pennsylvania Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Collegeville, PA are extremely competent and understanding. They made my dental implants experience painless without anesthesia with only local numbing. Thank you, thank you!

I have used this practice for several years. It started with my children for wisdom teeth, then finally myself for dentures. I have seen several different dental surgeons in this practice. I feel very confident in each and every one of them. The surgeons have always been very friendly. And the office staff has always been very efficient. I would highly recommend this practice. Dr. Andrew Kanter took Very Awesome Care of me when he removed my Back Tooth on Tuesday November 29th. He was Extremely Careful and Caring. I would recommend Everyone to go to the Pennsylvania Oral Surgery Center in Collegeville PA. Dr. Kanter is "The Very Best Oral Surgeon"

Had a tooth extracted and a bone graft recently. Staff was super friendly the whole time. Doctor thoroughly explained the procedure as he was going through it which was both very interesting and comforting. Completely painless and aftercare procedure was made very clear and led to no issues. Would definitely recommend to friends/family.

After waiting a month and a half for my appointment, which they had already rescheduled once, I received a text message the morning of my appointment saying that they needed to reschedule again and that I had to call them to reschedule. My husband and I had both taken off work for this appointment and had already completely rearranged our schedules twice, so I did not call them to reschedule and decided to go with another provider instead. The office never followed up with me to reschedule my appointment.
