We exist to help people make better health decisions and enjoy the South Sound. We serve the Lacey, Tumwater, Yelm, Olympia communities which make up the South Puget Sound region.We provide outpatient orthopedics serving primarily the 40+ age group for back pain, knee pain, foot pain, shoulder pain, neck pain/headaches. We enjoy teaching walking and running mechanics and perform gait analysis on all of our lower extremity clients. We have free reports on a variety of topics on our home page that allow people to get a start on things that can help with their condition right away."

Penrose Physical Therapy is great! Mary Hale is my physical therapist and she is absolutely phenomenal! She really cares about her patients and gives it everything she's got! Highly recommend!!! Nicole is my other physical therapist and she is also great! She answers all my questions and works very hard to help me build up my strength in my back and my core. Nicole is very focused and detail oriented, and at the same time has a great sense of humor. Highly recommend!!!
Exceptional Care and Results I recently had the privilege of receiving physical therapy at Penrose, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the level of care and expertise provided by their team. I work with Mary and Erica. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who made me feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable. The physical therapist, Wyatt, and his assistants, Vincent and Nicole, were all very knowledgeable and approached working with me in a compassionate manner. They always explained what they were doing and and the why before I even had to ask! They genuinely cared about my improvement and understood how this fit into my living with a chronic disease. I highly recommend Penrose, not only for physical therapy but also for the other services they offer that I am taking advantage of, i.e., Personal Training and Pilates. The organization truly cares about everyone in a holistic manner!
Penrose Physical Therapy has the most caring, knowledgeable, and friendly staff!! They always listen and let me know if there’s anything more I can do to work with my vertigo and balance issues!! I’m very satisfied with everything they have done for me!!!
My wife gave me a couple prepaid massages as a gift. When I called to make an appointment they had me on the phone a long time while they found my gift record, not too well organized I guess. I went to the first appointment and the therapist did a very good job. No complaint there at all. When I came for the next they told me after I had arrived, she had called in sick. They should have called me sooner but we rescheduled. When I called prior to my next appointment they told me I had to pay for it because I had no prepaid ones left, so I canceled. At that point, I'm just out a massage. Nine months later after the first of the year they start billing me for one massage! I called them and explained they still owed me one but the invoices kept coming. I put it in a letter but they kept invoicing me. Then I filed a complaint with the state attorney Generals office who also contacted them. They never responded to them either. Their office seems pretty poorly managed.
I just completed my physical therapy program here and it was great. Came in with a 4 part proximal humerus fracture basically shattered my shoulder and made my way all the way back to almost normal range of motion in just a couple months. Kasha and Nicole were extremely knowledgeable and kept a healthy balance between pushing for progress and slowing down to allow for proper healing time. Couldn't be happier with the care and the results. Highly recommend.
I was referred to Penrose and Associate Physical Therapy by a friend who was very pleased with her experience there. I was uniquely impressed with my first session where I was given the opportunity to share, with the Physical Therapist, the issues that I have and to answer her questions as well. I felt heard and understood. My subsequent sessions have focused on the issues we discussed in our intake session. I have found the staff and the atmosphere to be warm and welcoming and the physical therapist attentive to thoughtfully addressing the issues I am having and providing me with valuable exercises to be done between sessions. They get my 5 star rating.
I have had excellent care by all practitioners. The office is very professional and helpful. They worked with me over several months on a frozen shoulder and a problem with my right leg. They stuck with me and we finally got results. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.
Penrose PT is a group of incredibly skilled, kind, knowledgeable and invested staff. I spent six months with Nicole and Kylie, rehabbing my shoulder after rotator cuff surgery. I felt super supported and in such great hands! A huge thanks to Penrose for everything!!
