I use this specific Penske location very frequently, and to say that I'm happy with the service would be an incredible understatement. I've personally dealt with Charda, Jacob, Ruby, Anthony, Raine, Melina and Suhaib. Anytime I have an issue, it's taken care of promptly and professionally. There was even a situation where I left some small equipment in the back of a truck on accident, and Garrett head manager, kept my items for me and let me know they were safe. I can't recommend this location enough. I've rented from approximately 12 different Penske locations, and this is the best one. If you want a great rental experience, try Penske Warren. You won't regret it!

Had problems with idling a Sub unit. I was helped as soon as I walk in the door. Very impressed with the service.
Been there 3 times and some else was there 1 time for the same truck which they seem to not be able to fix it. Have appointment for the 5th time hopefully they have the right part and some one there who can final fix it. Very disappointed in the company I'm glad it's not my truck otherwise I would go with a different company. To be fair though the couple times before covid hit it was good but the truck new also.
They're always prompt and attentive when I'm there.
Awesome customer service. I called late in the day on Friday because Budget Truck Rental 'lost' my reservation. The Penske team had many trucks available and the whole process of renting and returning was painless. Just wish my move was painless too, but thats another story. Price per mile was a bit higher than competitors, but having a truck available when you have a move planned is worth the extra cost.
Hugh from the Plymouth store is always an absolute pleasure to work with. Do yourself a favor and avoid Home Depot for Penske pickup. I had to call Hugh to handle my Dearborn HD pickup because the rental counter was literally clueless. Penske is a great value with great service.
Penske was wonderful, I moved my daughter from Royal Oak, MI. to Hoboken, N.J. The truck was clean and ready, people were nice, pick-up and drop-off were easy. They are much cheaper than U-haul, discount for AAA. Truck ran good and had no problems. We dropped the truck off at a Home Depot. Would use again.
When I contacted the Penske office inquiring about renting a 12 foot truck I was told that if I paid with my debit card I would not have to pay a $100 deposit. Upon arrival to my truck pick up location I was in fact, charged $100 and I was told it was "policy" and whoever I spoke with was misinformed. After my trip from Tulsa, OK to Utica, MI I went to drop off my truck and claim my $100 deposit. My drop off location informed me that they were unable to refund my money. In that office they called Penske corporate to notify them about the situation. After two days of waiting I did not receive my check in the mail as they said I would. I called the Penske office myself inquiring about my deposit refund and was informed that no one knew I was owed a check. After I spoke with the representative they assured me my check would be in the mail that day. A few hours later I was called by Penske saying that I could pick up my check at their local location. When I got there they were unable to refund me my check and in fact said it would come in the mail but after the Memorial Day weekend. All of this miss communication as well as my truck being dirty upon pick up I will take my moving services to U-Haul going forward.
Great staff and amazing price. Mike's the man! I really enjoyed my experience with them. They were golden for the most part, only reason why they don't receive a five star rating from me is that one time when we rented a truck then returned it, they wanted to blame a preexisting ding on us. Luckily we had the insurance so even then they couldn't touch us. I would highly recommend this place over uhual any day, just make sure to have all of the dents and scratches marked on the sheet before taking off. Use AAA discount if you have it!
