Terrible customer service. 1. I called to place a reservation for my business , they asked for prices which were 50% higher 150$l per day than both my usual price and the online price offered at that time were 99$. 2. I placed the order online and went there to pickup the truck. I was told that they cannot rent me the car since Now they know that I am not a personal renter but a company renter which is a terrible excuse since as a business ofcoursr I am able to rent and in better rates. 3. They sent me to another location which was 20 min away to pickup the truck and refused to comply with the online order even though they had over 100 trucks sitting there. Worst experience ever ! I documented it all in a video and uploaded it to YouTube. Shame on you !
Penske Miami West!!! That’s the worst Service that I’ve ever seen in my entire life!!! There are so many things wrong that I don’t even know where to start!! On 02/20/21 Saturday, while I was driving I saw that the truck is not building air properly. I stopped and called Penske 24/7 roadside service. They send a mechanic who found out that the Air Compressor is the issue and it needs to be changed. He called back Penske in front of me and told them what’s the problem. They told him that I need to go to a Penske shop to change the compressor! So that’s what I did! My dispatch called Penske and made an appointment for Monday. I went there on Monday but they told me I have to leave because they don’t have room for my trailer and come back without it! So I come back next day-Tuesday the 23rd , without the trailer and I wanted to speak with somebody and explain why am I checking in today, a very rude guyRagelcamemaybe a supervisor and told me that it’s gonna take 3 to 4 days for oil change and PM because they’re very busy! I explained him that the truck also need a new air compressorthat’s what the road service mechanic concluded on 02/20/21 and he called Penske to tell them so supposedly they already knew about it and have it in the systemand he keep giving me his unprofessional and rude attitude and finally told me to check in at the monitors! Which I did! I put all the problems and issues in the systemand because I taught that this place is very lousy and very bad managed I made screenshots with my phone on every check in step, so I can have a proof The same rude guy promised me that the truck will be ready till Friday morning, because they need 3 full days to make the PM and change the compressor. I asked him if I can get a substitute truck, because according to my contract with Penske they are obligated to provide me with a substitute after 24 hours! If they can’t fix the problem on my truck for a day! The same guy laughed at my face again and told me that this is Miami and things are different here and they don’t work like that! Can you believe that Guys?! So I left. On Friday 02/26/21 I received a call from a Lady working at that location who told me that the truck will be ready at the end of the day and I can go and pick it up around 5pm. I went there in 4:45pm and I saw the truck still standing inside the shop so I decided to ask when is it going to be ready? Again, a very bad mannered and rude guy, probably a mechanic, start laughing and told me that the truck is not going anywhere because he just started working on it! So that’s like four working days from Tuesday morning to Friday evening and they haven’t even touched it! I asked about the manager right away because this is absolutely ridiculous and when he came he try to lie and explain me how they was working on the truck since Tuesday but they’ve just found out that the truck needs an air compressor! And that nobody ever told them that so it’s not their fault! On the spot I showed him the screen shots on my phone from the check in process and he changed his face expression. He immediately start apologizing and playing stupid and tried to tell me that he knows who made the mistake and he is going to take actions and he promised me that the truck will be ready on the weekend! He also offered me a substitute truck, with four days delay but because he promised me to fix the truck in 1-2 days I refused it! Saturday the truck wasn’t ready! Sunday the truck wasn’t ready! Monday 03/01/21 I called and the same rude Guythe supervisor named Rageltold me that eventually the truck will be ready on Tuesday evening 03/02/2021, that’s what he told me! But when a representative from my company called later that day and asked when the truck will be ready, the same person told her it will be ready maybe Wednesday or Thursday. Can you Guys believe this place?!?! That’s the worst, most unprofessional Penske place in existence!!! The staff are rude, lying, unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous! Stay away!!!That’s what you get from Penske for 1000$ a week!!!
Understaffed. Arrived to pick up my rental truck. Go to the rental office to do the paperwork and the door is locked because of the new rules for COVID. That’s understandable, but then no one acknowledges or assists me for 30 min. Then another 45 min before I get the rental truck. Very poor customer service
Great people at the gas station
I had a reservation that was booked 2 weeks out. I was supposed to pick the truck up at 7 AM and coordinated movers along with reserved time slots for the elevator usage due to building restrictions. I arrived to pick up the truck and it was not on site. I was told I needed to wait another 25-30 minutes. The truck was over an hour late arriving and Art on site said it is what it is. This is absurd and totally unprofessional customer service.
This is the most irresponsible location of Penske that there is. I've had my truck there for Oil Change on a Tuesday and they said that it should be done by Friday Morning. Than they gave me a call on Friday that the Truck will need a little extra hours for the service to be completed, they said should be ready by 6 pm. At 6pm I was there and they told that they are just about to start with my truck and it may or may not be ready by next week Monday. I have no words, this is just horrible and dishonest Penske Location.
When looked up on Google maps, sent me to wrong location had to call to get correct address. Upon arrival was greeted and fueled up quickly. Went to wash truck but automated truck wash was down so gentleman had wash all trucks manually which he did a good job.
I was disappointed in the customer service at this location due to mainly one thing. After leaving a lease truck for service and being promised a call back for it's status, no one called. I called several times to check on the truck and each time I was on the phone for 15-20 minutes trying to get the service department. Again, each time I was promised someone would check on the status and call me back. No one ever did. Not a single time. I was also given a sub lease tractor while mine was in service and it was disgustingly filthy dirty. My co-driver and I spent several hours cleaning the interior before we could even drive off in it. Additionally, there was no permit book in the truck. This resulted in being tied up at an Arizona inspection station for over 2 hours. To their credit, after calling customer service, they had the forms emailed to me fairly quickly. This was far from the typical Penske experience. Maybe the other locations I've used have spoiled me, but given the option, I won't return to this location.
Garbage service and purchase experience. Purchased a truck with one milage stated through out the so called " premium " sales, was told truck was ready. Came from another state, truck dirty, old soda cans, old black as tar, check engine light come on not even a 100 miles after leaving the lot. Sorry excuse for a trucking service, dont waste your time or money here. Will give you the run around no help what so every evem with premium warranty.
This is a nice place they are very fast and the service guy roobie is very nice he helped me with all my questions.
