so unbelievably unprofessional. I don't have just one complaint, I have several: •made an appointment, I checked in and waited for 3 hours. they finally asked me what I needed and then they told me that the receptionist never checked me in to begin with. after all that I couldn't even see the doctor. no apology or explanation. •came for help for my mental health, I was involuntary committed to a DePaul Hospital locked ward for several days. after I was finally able to be released, I had to pay at least $9000 in hospital bills. Betty Jean said that I was hospitalized under their program. they did not help me pay any bills. •during another appointment I was led to a back room and saw no one or got any help for 2 hours. I could hear other patients get treated but not one person came to help me. •tried to check in with internal medicine, they told everyone to go back to the front because they were going to lunch. people had been standing around for at least 30 mins. they did not explain anything to anyone and just walked away. I am so done with Betty Jean. they do not help or care about their patients and spend more time laughing and joking around than the work they should be doing.
I absolutely love my primary doctor at People's. Dr. Boykin-Wright gives a fast and efficient medical evaluation. I wish there more like her. I try to have my notes ready for her to review and it helps keep my visit brief.
0000 worst unprofessional place I went to happy I didn't reschedule there lazy work I never been to a place they pay 7 ppls one patient laughing call you 2 days b4 a appointment that was set 2 months a head changed to a hour early I called let them no I was close to the location they say try to do a walk in I walk they call me and say you gotta reschedule for this emergency 7 females or male looking men smiling like they know they wasn't finna work today and only 1 person there for a doc appointment but I still couldn't be seen I never been in a doc office we're people get paid to smile and lie please check them out business bureau thanx in advance... My appt was with Nurse Practitioner L.Tobias. Very professional, and answered my myriad of questions with ease. Yes. I will be going back in the near future!
*Dental review only* Dr. Washington was warm and gentle, and I felt quite at ease in the chair. Some issues with professionalism among the general staff but no more so than anywhere else these days. Overall, I was surprised at the level of care I received and wouldn't have thought this to be a place that operated on tax dollars. Recommended.
I absolutely hate this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I say I hate this place, I hate this place. I mean where do I possibly start? This place is ran so unprofessional, no kind of organization! The few older people they have here, need to retire. They’re too old, forgetful, and just entirely too slow. I do not mean any harm, but once you reach a certain age that prohibits you from thinking and striving to the best of your ability it’s time to either find something more milder or simply retire. The young ladies here, most of them are all rude! There’s so care, no sympathy, empathy, compassion when it comes to the proper treatment of the patients. I’ve been coming here since I was a new born, myself along with my mom. My mom is pretty popular, everyone just about knows her. Lets address the attitude, the attitude amongst the patients are ridiculous. You call compliant line, thinking your problems are going to be rectified just for them not to be handled at all. If you don’t like a certain job position, don’t get the job it’s just that simple. I get it during COVID, everyone has been needing jobs, short/understaffed. But that does not mean hire anyone, they hire any and everyone and that’s why this cooperation will never be high quality, and ran correctly . They have you waiting unnecessarily, they never ever make sure everyone is on the same page. You might’ve been told one thing, and you’re thinking by what you’ve been told that everything is one way just to find out differently. This facility lack tons of things, that should not be lacked by this being an health clinic . Lets start with greetings, I noticed people lack common cordial care. When a person is checking in, you greet them with a Hello you be pleasant . Don’t just look around crazy, open your mouth and be kind. It does not take much to be kind, but so many people are miserable here and you can tell. Betty Jean has too many great doctors here, to be ran so poorly. It’s time to step your game up, this place has been ran so unprofessionally and ghetto for years. It’s time for a change, it’s not fair and it’s not right. Again let me reiterate IF YOU DO NOT LIKE YOUR JOB, find somewhere else to work. Out of all fields chosen, you guys chose working with the people? Caring for the people? Unacceptable. Many people here say, their goal is to try and strive for excellence. Well I sure do not see it, clearly it’s a lie the action speaks for itself. Terrible terrible place, and I would never recommend this place unless you’re in dire need.
I tried to call their afterhours nurse and they were so rude. I had to call multiple times and they answered twice let the time run and hung up. Also the doctors are rude to you when you take your baby in there to get checked out they act like the baby's fine if they're we're fine I wouldn't be taking them to the doctor especially with covid around. I feel like, the need to have people take an adequate class before they put some people on the field and people that actually know what they doing.
Horrible experience with booking appointments. I was finally able to get a real appointment on a Saturday to get my sons last filling for them to tell me he don't have a cavity it was discoloration afterall. I feel like they had me come back for each individual cavity to get paid again. Come to find out they keep scheduling and he didn't have cavities.
I been going here for 18yrs it was rough at first but, now I feel like I'm family! I get in right away! But, ever since the pandemic it's hard to get an appointment up there I have to drive up there to make one cause I'm on voice mail and if they did schedule on the phone I wait 5 hours with my cancer patient and kids to see dentist then they tell me that my insurance don't cover for that day when they could tell me on phone. It's very aggravating and feeling frustrated I don't like some new workers up there as well
