Awesome store with a HUGE wine selection!! Plenty of liquor to choose from as well. I tried finding a store near my hotel that sold wine and nothing came up in my search yet this liquor store that also sells wine was just 2 miles away from my hotel They also have lots of snacks gift baskets and mixers. The employees there are helpful in helping make wine selections. And the best of all is they sell Keogh’s potato chips imported from Ireland!
People's is a great local liquor store that hosts many tastings. The prices are fair and they have a 5% discount reward program. They also host a bi-annual wine tasting event that is amazing. This past event, 75 tastings for FREE, snacks included!
Good selection, they usually have what I want and prices are reasonable. Getting in and out of the plaza can be difficult but not the fault of this business the new traffic pattern is a pain this place can be very busy at times but they usually have enough staff to handle the rush of customers at peak times if not they will call for help at the cashier's counter if the line gets too long. Nothing worse than someone buying 17 bottles of wine and then cashing in a dozen scratch tickets while you stand in line. Edit: I get frustrated that they constantly run out of my preferred brand of vodka, it's apparantly very popular. I don't understand why they don't order more when they place their orders. Update/edit avoid this place when they have wine tasting events. These usually take place on Saturdays, parking lot is full and the store is full of wine people. Us alcoholics just want to get our beer, whiskey or vodka, a quick in and out.
Went to a wine tasting event with my Mom and Sister. Great selection of wine distributors and local vineyards. Purchased some excellent wines! Will definitely be returning to this establishment.
I will not longer recommend this place anymore, I have been a customer for over a year, today I ask my wife to stop by and buy some drinks on the way home, just because she was accompanied by a friend visiting us from out of the country, they ask for their ID's wich they both provide to the cashier, because our guests has a foreign language ID, they denied it, saying that they couldn't read the Spanish ID, my wife presented hers and they still denied it, when my wife came back home and explained to me what just happened, I went to the store to purchase the drink and ask for an explanation, they told me that because my wife was denied it, they can not longer sell the drinks to me. That doesn't make any sense to me, on my way out I told them that they just lost one loyal customer and they replied saying they have many more. I WILL SUGGEST THAT IF YOU ARE FROM A FOREIGN LANGUAGE, YOU SHOULD NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT, the less I will expect is for the manager to reach back to me we an explanation of what happened.
We don't usually shop here, but, as it was almost 10pm, our regular packie was closed. The store was clean, well stocked and reasonably priced. We found exactly what we were looking for at a Great Price. The checkout lines were quick and the ladies were super friendly and helpful. We were impressed and will Definitely be back!
