Peoples Trust and Savings Bank is a provider of consumer and commercial banking services and products serving Boonville, Paradise and Newburgh, Indiana.
Peoples Trust & Savings Bank has been a Warrick County institution since 1895, and was the only financial institution in Boonville to remain open through the Great Depression. From those humble beginnings Peoples Bank grew into the oldest locally-owned bank in Warrick County.
Part of its tradition is a close connection to the communities that it serves. Whether it’s the extraordinary – such as sponsoring the first Habitat for Humanity home in Warrick County, to the everyday – helping a young couple purchase their first home, the staff at Peoples Bank feels a deep responsibility to their neighbors.
In a world where most financial institutions present themselves as everything to everybody, we’ve taken a different path. Being in business for over one hundred years teaches us that we should not act as sales peoples hawking our wares at discount prices, but as advisers and service providers who solve problems and create possibilities for our customers. Our goal is not to become the biggest – our goal is to continuously improve our abilities and our service to our friends and neighbors.
Peoples Bank has been located on the square in Boonville for over 100 years. Our first branch location began operations at Paradise Park in the fall of 2000. In January of 2002 we joined forces with another Warrick County institution: Shelton Insurance joined the Peoples Bank team. In 2004 Inman Insurance joined us which allows the bank to further serve the local area with a full line of insurance products and services. During the Spring of 2004 we opened our second branch location at 705 State Street in Newburgh. This bank branch location is set up in the heart of Historic Newburgh.
