My family and I had a fantastic time during the 4th of July celebration. We were impressed with the organization, the attitudes of the workers, cleanliness, and especially the presence of many police officers. Thank you Peoria Sports Complex, for the impressive, fun, and safe evening. Great Job!
Overall this is a great place to enjoy spring training. However I know many people who work at the concession standsvia temp agencyand they would like the community to know that when you tip them they never receive any of the tips, and if you leave them a cash tip..well they get kicked off the job. I think this isn't fair and just who is receiving the tips, the partner who brought them on..? It's bad enough that if you attend one of these events expect to easily spend 50.00 on each person and if you decide to reward someone for good service and a great attitude.. someone else will be pocketing their money. Other than that great way to bring in America's past time and relax and enjoy a game
This is the Spring Training home for the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres and a great facility for baseball! There is plenty parking and I was surprised by how easy it was to get in/out! The parking was also free which I was surprised by. That being said, the concession prices were not so affordable. I guess I'm spoiled being from Seattle where craft beer cans can be purchased at T-Mobile Park during Mariners games for $6 but I thought $15 plus tip domestic tallboy cans were a thing of the past. Guess not! Lemonade will set you back $8... The staff was overall pretty nice. There was one older gentleman that made a sexist comment to my partner which we didn't care for, but I guess that's Arizona? Or maybe he was just a jerk! Overall a great facility, I just wish it were more affordable to visit as a family outing more often.
Little older than most of the other sports complexes I have been to, but still a good one. They have a nice little play ground for kids, and even a small splash area. There is a seating area with misters to keep you cool as your kid runs around. Not the best selection of food, but a lot of concessions were closed, likely due to staffing issues. This is the Padres and Mariners complex, for those that don’t know.
Nice park for a spring training game. It should go without saying, it's in Arizona and it's hot. If you can afford it, spend the extra few bucks on the seats that are in the shade. Otherwise, it's a very nice and quaint stadium.
What a great place! Spring training games were fun to watch. The kids zone was very popular with my kids too
Such a great Beautiful Ballpark! Especially watching my favorite baseball team during spring training
Pretty disappointed in my experience here. I am not sure if we just ran into several on a bad night, but a few of the staff made it hard to enjoy our time. First, I have used the same small fanny pack for every game, yet it wasn't allowed here. Not a big deal, but I felt singled out as many around me had the exact same small waist packs. Next, my kiddos were let down because even though at every other facility you can watch the bullpen no problem, here my children were told immediately to sit down they weren't allowed to stand?? and again, normally not a big deal if that's the rule, but the man was not kind and that's not necessary for young kids. Lastly, these tickets were priced EXTREMELY higher than the other facilities and for what? There is nothing special about this complex. We paid 3-4 times more for this stadium for worse seats. On a good note, they have a cute, little playground for kids. IMO--Pass on this complex and go to Goodyear, Surprise, or Salt River to have an all around great family experience!
Great place to spend a day watching the Mariners. They go out of their way to give baseball fans an amazing experience. The variety and quality of the food was great. The staff was very friendly and appeared to truly care about the fans. It is family friendly and they have a great play area for kids. Parking was only $5 or free if you can walk a few blocks to the complex. The ticket prices for great seats in the shade were very reasonable.
Big lawn in the outfield. Shaded seats all around in the upper sections. Kid's play field. Lots of food and beer options! Lots of parking on site.
