Doctoral Education in Oriental Reproductive Medicine: from Yo San University in Santa Monica, California. Emphasis on acupuncture, Chinese medicine, TCM and functional nutrition for optimal health and preventative medicine.
Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM): Graduated from the nation’s foremost TCM school, the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle, Washington. (now part of Bastyr University). Michelle graduated first in her class, completing the four-year program in three years. Her education is strongly rooted in both Eastern and Western medicine including traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, western medicine, anatomy & physiology, pharmacology, and counseling.
Acupuncture Physician/Licensed Acupuncturist (AP/LAc): Nationally board certified by the NCCAOM. Professionally licensed in CT, NY, FL.
Master Herbalist: (Dipl CH) Nationally board certified by the NCCAOM. Former adjunct professor at the University of Bridgeport for Chinese Herbal Medicine, TCM Formulas and Patent Formulas. Continues to supervise clinical herbal interns in her clinic in Southport, CT.
Traditional Chinese Medical Nutritionist: (CTCMN): Nationally board certified through the esteemed Yo San University. Michelle completed advanced clinical training in the art and science of nutrition for optimal health, preventative medicine, permanent weight loss, increased energy and endurance and rapid recovery from trauma.
International Healthcare Instructor: Invited to teach acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and nutrition to physicians in various Third world countries. Volunteered additional medical services and supplies to treat various traumas and illnesses in remote villages in multiple countries including parts of Asia and India.
Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM): Nationally board certified from the nations most prestigious Oriental reproductive medicine organization.
