Not going to get into the details, but I had A LOT of issues…I didn’t want to eat, barely slept, hated everyone, lost basically all my friend. That is until the staff taught me how to cope with my feelings. I haven’t been the same ever since, and I mean that in the best way possible.
My son is currently in the facility and I couldn't be more pleased with the care he is getting. My son has battled with mental illness for years and so I am no stranger to mental health hospitals and this one is truly the best. The staff from the security all the way to the nurses on the unit are so kind, treat you with respect and care from the moment you walk through the doors. My son has had nothing but nice things to say about the staff and the food and for any parent you know that means everything.
This program was literally a life changing experience. I felt like I was stuck in a funnel I could never get out of, and the people here were the ones who were able to pull me out. No exaggeration, I legitimately feel like I was given a second lease on life.
I just want to thank the staff for all their hard work and patience. I sent my kid here and I know he can be tough to handle. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to work with so many kids every day, but somehow they manage to work their magic! Thank you again for everything you do!
When my OCD was consuming more time in my life than my family, my job and everything else that truly mattered to me, I knew it was time for professional help. I could usually get it under enough control myself so that I could still function but when stressful events occur, that isn’t always the case. I know I made the right decision in coming here.
I stayed at woodridge behavioral as a patient and i really liked it. like, it wasn’t my favorite place in the world, but it was nice to get away from it all and kind of figure out what was going on with me. almost felt like a mini vacation.
Sending our child here was a transformative experience for the entire family. Not only did the therapy help rekindle our relationship with him, it also helped him lead a happier, healthier life free of drugs.
I worked at WBC for a few years, and it was one of the most amazing, eye-opening experiences in my life. There’s nothing more rewarding than being there for children when they seriously need help.
Easily one of my top favorite places I’ve ever worked. The kids inspired me with their strength and courage every single day.
Pays well, free meals, awesome coworkers. The schedule’s a bit straining but I knew I’d be working long shifts going into it. Overall it’s a good place to work.
